I sure mis the words of wisdon that OldHasBeen contributed to the Forum before his untimely death.

Maybe we can get Mike h to start another forum part just for deaths and memorials of our dearly departed friends..Like the one we have for Steve Mizerak. Only we can post about players we know who love the game...it was a thought..................mike

So Much For The Original Topic.....

Buggs Had to be the funniest in the early years....24 fps rich color animations.....Good stuff.... Cartoons today just don't look as good, the animation is poor and they just look cheap.....
Tex Avery (Woody Woodpecker, Droopy, Quick Draw Et Al) made some of the wildest cartoons ever, with real in your face gags and animation.....Made Looney Tunes look mild by comparison
Unfortunately Cartoon network owns all of the old looney tunes, and they are so PC there that we may never see Speedy Gonzales cousin Slowpoke Rodrigez again. Apparently he stereotypes Mexicans too much.....

Cartoons today are indoctrination tools to train young minds to think pc thoughts.....Who has ever enjoyed a single Captian Planet cartoon ever???

Todays best cartoons......
The Simpsons
South Park
King of the Hill
Ren and Stimpy
Bevis and Butthead....

McCue Banger McCue

So Much For The Original Topic.....

Felix the Cat
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Go-Go Gophers
Sherman and Peabody
The Jetsons
Yogi the Bear
Tennessee Tuxedo

:D :D :D
These were my favorites.

Everyone needs to step away from the key board and cool off.

First, as far as I can tell, Mr. Maycotte is just unfortunate enough to share an IP with shorty ( httpe1.northgrum.com ) and since shorty was kind enough to generate about a dozen personas, I was immediately suspicious.

Time has past and I am very satisfied that he has nothing to do with him. It was an error to associate him with shorty. I apologise for having his name in the same context as shorty.

Dave

Hi Dave,

With all respect you may want to recant the above statement because I_Maycotte is in fact, Shorty. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.

Koop

If I'm not mistaken, each computer has a unique identifier called an IP address. So while shorty and Maycotte and the other dozen personas may indeed be different people, if the forum postings have the same IP address then they probably originate from the same computer.

I was always partial to Thundar the Barbarian.

You know you're old when you don't recognize the names of cartoons. I ain't even heard of Thundar the Barbarian. :D

They don't make kids shows like they used to, though. I used to enjoy shows like Superman, Three Stooges, Ranger Hal, Captain Kangaroo, and the old Popeye cartoons. Somehow, the music and quality of toon graphics was better, even though they utilized older technology.

Yes. And, straybullet attacks timberly out of the blue (ad hominem per previously stated "rules"), timberly defends herself and says she doesn't like the way administration plays fast and loose (sorry Marcus!) with the "rules" and TIMBERLY gets strike two.

This is better than watching wannabe parents at a Little League game. LOL

This isn't always true. The IP address of a given computer will change in some situations, depending on how the ISP serving that computer is set up and what type of service is involved.

I read and re-read Timberly trashing this thread before making a single comment to both Deb and her....."Timberley and Deb, your feud is long and old. I don't expect either of you to get over it, but don't bring it here any more."

I've been polite and patient with her.

Getting the last word and taking swipes at me won't fly anymore.

Ya know. I was going to make a "swipe" about the last line in your post is why Timberly got the second strike. But, I took the time to reread the posts and here is my humble synopsis.

- everyone is having good-natured fun poking at each other's forum personas and ogling captainhooks females "associates"
- Bruce says he misses Shorty and Timberly says to stop whining about it and that Shorty is still posting here
- Deb jumps in against Timberly and her "perch" here at AZB
- Much feather-ruffling takes place about aliases, IP adresses, and past history
- Dave warns Deb and Timberly to take it elsewhere, and that applies to everyone
- Timberly says she doesn't like the way Dave mods the site and Dave gives strike 2

<<=== Reporting from the front-lines, I bid you farewell

Well I wonder how many are using AOL as a Internet Provider, and if they all have the SAME AOL IP Number or what ever it is your are talking about...

Each AOL subscriber is not assigned their own IP address. AOL has some finite number of IP addresses (albeit a very large number) and one of those IP addresses is assigned to a user whenever they log on. You can read up on the difference between static IP's and dynamic IP's if you're not already familiar with those phrases ... or if you even really care to. :)

Most home internet users are assigned dynamic IP's.

Wow. I've missed a lot. Been busy I guess. However this thread reminds me of the "Your Momma" jokes that went too far. It started out as fun and games. Then next thing you know fists are swinging.

And is there a way to tell if you're on someones Ignore list? I know I have to be on someones.
