AZBilliards is No. 5 Most Influential People in Billiards

Espn ??????

ESPN is the 9th most influential people in billiards. WOW that's a joke their coverage is awful, it's because of them that I've stopped watching pool on regular TV altogether. They need to watch some Accu-Stats dvd's because in a word ESPN's coverage sucks. Thanks ESPN for never getting to see an entire match, and you got to love that genious who thought up the pocket cam that's like only getting to see the tops of a players shoes when he's scoring the winning touch down and missing the whole play keep up the good work maybe you'll move up the next time they vote for most influentail person yea right.

I find it interesting that apparently the Billiard Congress of America wasn't even asked to vote.

One day TAR will be right up there on that list

The coverage lately has been excellent!!

A Filipino boxing magazine! They do love their sports, but they definitely hold Efren Reyes in the highest regard. I wouldn't be surprised to see him admitted into sainthood in the Philippines.

"Saint Efren" has a nice ring to it in the pool world for sure! :D

I am always cautious of polls really, I mean we all here at AZ Billiards did not see where to vote on this and if we did AZ Billiards might be number 1. I just think polls are based on the general audience and if they are say from the UK or PI then its going to be a little bit biased obviously.

There is a list of those who participated in the voting right below the "Honorable mention".

Break down by Country/Region.

USA---19
ASIA--11
EUR---6
CAN---2
S.Am.-1
Africa-1

Lots of interesting tidbits in this. I see Jay Helfert got to vote. But what strikes me is that they list him as "author/analyst". I'm shocked they didn't instead list him as "bank pool champion".

:grin-square:
