Me, I'm just getting back from a pool tournament with my son. 50 something players and I come in 7th and get 25 dollars for my trouble. Too bad the Calcutta and entry fee totaled 80 dollars.

I'm playing worse every day. This is a B players tournament and I feel like that Mick Jagger song "I can't get no satisfaction".

If you're a "B" player I'm ready to go off for some big dough.

Thats why I quit playing tournaments.
Played 12 hours once and came in 3rd. I got $85.Not worth it.
Deduct $20 entry and food. Net win about $45.

Billy, I am definitely a b- player. I think this past month I would have lost thousands of dollars to other B banger players if they had asked me to play for the cash. I've lost my edge and have been going downhill for the last several months. And even if my name was Bozo, this would still be no joke.

I don't know what to say. It's been like this for months and I'm playing practically every day. I'll be fine but my game, well it will probably never be the same.

Sure. We even have a place out here in Metairie where you can get some Café Au Lait and beignets but you're probably like Phil Burford and Stan Shuffett and have to go down to the French Quarter and get your taste of decadence. But sure, it's my burden for living in this part of the world.

P.S. I was supposed to lose my first two matches and won them both by flukes, on hill-hill. Then I ran into a young gun who beat me 3-0 and I had one match where I played pretty good against another B- player. My final match was against an old nemesis that I used to play even with and he spanked me 3-1. Some people who know me keep asking me, "What's going on? I haven't seen you miss balls and shape like this ever. " It swells my nuts up; not them mentioning it but that it is so. I guess the reign is over.

I saw my name in your thread about B players and I was laughing to hard to continue reading thought you called me one. I have worked very hard to be a D player. I ran a low B invitational tournament yesterday and I had to play to keep the flights even. I was the only player not bought in the calcutta. You are a champ Joey you will get it back.Just keep hitting em and find a sucker that always brings your game back.
