god for the last time, how many times do I have to say this:
www.escrow.com
only costs a little, and one. hundred. per. cent. fail safe.

D-Sub, if you read my post, I did ask Marcus to be our escrow. After a few PMs, Manny PM me back and said that he contact Marcus and will get the cue overnight to Marcus right away. I told Manny that I would love to pay for the postage to get it to Marcus and back to me and pay for Marcus time for escrow and review.D-Sub said:god for the last time, how many times do I have to say this:

You would have said it one less time if you would have read the thread.D-Sub said:god for the last time, how many times do I have to say this:

I doubt there will be any "coming back" from this one, Manny.barrosm said:the white cue looks nicer every time i pull it out![]()

I considered buying that cue myself and I hate to hear about all of the trouble John went through.ScottR said:I am so glad that I followed my instincts and stopped pursuing this cue.
Really sorry you had to go through this, John.
Hopefully Manny's mocking post above will serve as permanent warning to anyone thinking of doing business with him in the future.

You've screwed a few people over on the boards here...and I think just about everyone has had their eyes on this thread now.
I would hope it's safe to assume that your dealing days here are done. I wouldn't work a deal with you if you owned the last cue on earth...and I will tell everybody I know on here to do the same.
You're real piece of work.....

Marcus, thank you for being so cool to be the middle man and sorry for wasting your time.

He was very RED at one point and just about overnight went green.
I read the earlier threads on his dealings a long time ago and have stayed far far far away from him and his cues.

I'VE OFFERED MY SERVICES MANY TIMES FOR A VERY SMALL FEE. I'VE EVEN MADE THE SUGGESTION OF MAKING A STICKY OF MY ESCROW SERVICE. I'VE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE MODERATORS ABOUT IT THOUGH.

No, you don't need someone that knows cues. Did you go to the site?
Obviously not, or you would have known that there's an inspection period. If the buyer doesn't like what he sees, he returns the goods and funds are released back to him. Simple.
Sure, a specialized middle-man would be great, but escrow.com has an established, bonded reputation.
You didn't hear back from the mods for multiple reasons. What happens if a cue gets damaged in your possession? Are you licensed as an escrow service?
Don't mean to be critical but...you shot down a perfectly viable solution without even knowing the details.
