I came back from my usual watering hole & my wife quized me, as to how well I played. I told her, that I held the table for 3 hours against a group of 7-8 20 & 30 something people. She asked me if I was pleased, because at 66 yrs old, I had beaten the younger players & I said that was NOT the point. As a younger person myself, I had relished the info that I had garnered, from those at table one. To learn at an early age, that you could actually PREDICT, where the cueball would go or that you could move an object ball to the left or right, with english from the cue ball, was absolute golden news to me. When I try to impart some of this small amounts of knowledge, to others, I'm met with indifference or simply dismissed as "the old guy". THAT, honey is why, I so love beating these young guns. I don't know if they will learn much from tonight, BUT they will NOT take "the old guy" for granted, at our next meeting...JER
