Ruslan won that money match vs Shane in Russia. Then he won some money(400?) off Dennis at DCC too.

There is one 15-16 year old kid who was in DCC 9 ball and finished top 15. Might be one to watch as well.

EDIT: Fedor Gorst is the name.

Agreed, the 15 year old Fedor Gorst qof Russia is the most exciting 15-year old I've seen in a long, long time. He went double hill with Pagulayan at the Derby City 9-ball and Alex needed his very best to win.

Outstanding list of young names on here. I will say that I
was beyond impressed watching Ruslan Chinahov in a
money game at Derby. The young names in this thread
all are beyond impressive, though. Pool may not have as
bright a future as we all would like, but maybe these guys
can help carry this generation into the next one. I sure hope
so.

Nice thread, Spartan :)

I always like the philipinos against anybody, but albin ouschann really plays good. You could play a round robin with about 8 of these guys and i think albin holds his own.

around 20 players from Europe under 25 that play really good... half of them make the list... around 20 from different parts of Asia not including Philippines and taiwan . also lots of young girls ages from 10-20 that play amazing from Asia esp. china and one from Thailand Phaa.. she will be a superstar in next 10 years...

few good young americans... and few from middle east and lot from Philippines and Taiwan you guys haven't even seen yet..

but the best 3 under the age of 25 right now..

Johana Chua
Ko ping Chung
Jeffrey Ignacio.

We have not seen a lot of Yapp yet, but it seems the rare time he has been in a world class field of late he has proven to be pretty world class. You think those three are clearly actually better than Yapp atm? Or simply more proven/popular because we have gotten a chance to see them more?

I saw a couple matches and while he definitely plays well, he's got a choke stroke under the paint.

I was going to ask the same question!

young players

Landon Shuffett and acouple others at Lyndenwood with Mark. Iknow these other named gamblers will have such great careers not having to waste their time in school . It has worked out so well for most players. great retirement and life. When Landon if he decides will probably hold his own .
