when i stayed at Stratosphere, there was mold in the room (we think in the carpet) that caused me to have a full-blown asthma attack by Day 7. driving back to CA beach, we drove straight into urgent care & i was in bed for 2 days. they refunded 100% hotel, reimbursed for urgent care, and comped me a future week's stay.

yáll should be able to get a discount on rooms, or at bare minimum a daily meal comp to get you OUT of the room for awhile. Harrah's does NOT want ANY bad press.

Omega Billiards tweeted out that it was a fire caused by a light falling on a pool table. The tweet said the fire dept was called, but it was out before they arrived. They also tweeted out that cleanup crews are working on the puddle of water in front of the tournament room. Looks like the DCC and the Horseshoe might have dodged a bullet here.

Oh man, what a mess if all those tables got soaked. Dodged a bullet is a pretty good description. Also, pat's accu stats gear. Please keep everything in waterproof containers!

Now the question is, would it have delayed the tournament with an emergency install of new cloth or would the tables be completely shot of they took a shot of fire sprinkler soaking.

I spoke to Greg Sullivan a few minutes ago and he made it sound like there was no actual fire. The smoke from a light short circuiting set the sprinklers off. ( wasn't a pool light but a light already in the room) Two tables got a bath in the 14.1 room but other than that everything else is fine .
