At this point, I think its like 7th biggest. Or is it 9th? I don't know anymore. Nicki's posts are harder to read than a pre-schooler's.

There are those elusive Paul Newman signed sneakies (which, to me, adds little value to the overall pricetag, but hey! Nicki thinks they're like gold). And then there are the ones Grader posted which, to me, are WAY 'bigger' than this one.

This is the truest statement I may have ever read on AZ.

And I too agree that Newman auto on a cue wouldnt make much of a difference. Maybe $50. If that. To be honest, if I had one, I would have it refinished and the auto removed. But I would never buy an autographed cue. Cant stand them. I think it makes a cue look like shit and the person like a novice. Just my .02.

And nick, it is sentence. Not sentance.

Who is this TIMI? guy.....who cares if an actor signed it....who cares if it was one of Tim Scruggs personal cues he only had 100 personal cues like every other cue builder out there. SO nice to see things never change on here...
 
30 years ago when I worked at a hotel in California, Paul Newman's registration card was stolen with 24 hours of his check in. Turned out he didn't sign autographs for fans and his signature was worth $400.00.

The problem isnt in the cues. It is the fact that he tries to put it out there like whatever is in his hands at the time is the best thing ever out of whatever shop it came from. If the thread was marked as "Unique Scruggs Sneaky" or something like that then there would be no comments other than those pertaining to the cue. False claims, senseless rantings and , for lack of a better term, utter bullsh*t being pumped out are what get everyone going. And as far as wingnuts, you dont have to look very had for one. I imagine you talk to one about everyday or at least every other day.

But, again, I will say congrats on owning a sneaky. Allbeit the ugliest sneaky I have ever laid my eyes on. Congrats anyway.

I respect Paul Newman and all that he did as an actor, racing enthusiast, faithful husband to Joanne Woodward and a generous humanitarian. I have seen his signatures go for good prices on posters and post cards. He was a great actor and even greater person. RIP Mr. Newman

Timi is a retired MD cuemaker. Miki is a deceased MD cuemaker (RIP). I know YOU know a thing or two about MD cuemakers like Toni and Donni. lol.
There's also Ricki Phillippi, Dani Janes, Leoni Sly and many more.

It has nothing to do with the cue itself. Its ugly for sure, but if "Nicki" is proud of it, good for him! Congrats! It has more to do with the guy behind posts. I get he's a huge Scruggs fan. But Nicki has this ridiculous tendency to make it out like everything that ever came out of that shop was somehow touched by the hands of God himself.

Any cue that touches Nick's hands is a 'monster' and 'super rare' and 'the biggest', etc., etc.. According to Nick, Tim and Mike were capable of doing ANYTHING and no other cuemaker could ever figure out how they made the modern marvels that they did. Anyone remember the Mike Cochran "floaters"??? Wasn't that just the biggest mystery in cue history! :rolleyes:

I get Nicki is your friend but in cases like these where it looks like everyone is being mean to him, you have to stop and recognize that he really just brings it all on himself.
