I placed an order at billiard-place .com for some aramith snooker balls and have not heard anything from them in 10 days. I've sent a couple of emails and many phone calls and nobody answers. Does anybody know if they are still in business?

They are in Canada and still in business as far as I know.
You should have received an order acknowledgement or receipt as a minimum for an online order.
If it doesn't work out PM me as we carry the 2 1/8" Aramith Premier set which is what I presume you ordered.

I did get one of the auto-reply emails saying my order has been received, but after that I haven't heard a thing. Ive used the "contact us" button twice and have called at all sorts of times and no answer. No answering machine responds to the phone ringing. It's got me wondering. The last "contact us" email said I wanted to cancel my order and I figured that would get a response, but nothing so far.

i think i ordered something from these guys like over a year ago and i had a similar experience. couldn't get in contact with them via email or phone. they never picked up and there was no voicemail. order never shipped and my card was never charged. no idea what is up with these guys.

It is important to do research before you buy anything on line. With the state of affairs on line these days you never know who you are dealing with. Many sites do not even have a store front, only a Post Office box and a INTERNET Site.

I am sorry to hear about your problem, but hopefully it will not cost you anything.

Seriously people check things out, if something seems to good to be true in most cases it is,

Oh and by the way, stay away from a site called Chalkers, com the people who own the site are like I have described above and they are as dishonest as they come.

I hope things work for you, take care

10 days for a set of snooker balls is a long time even for a shipment from Canada barring any customs problems.
The lack of response to email and the inability to leave voicemail doesn't speak well for that company.
I'd give it another 2 or 3 days and if no response or delivery, file a dispute with your credit card issuer.

also stay away from cheapshotbilliards.com I placed an order, I never received it, they charged my card. I filed a dispute with my credit card company, the credit card company gave my money back. If they charged your card, I suggest you file a dispute.

Maybe this can help...

A guy on here had a problem with a light he bought from them. In the end, they didn't keep their word about helping him "after the holidays" they said.

They also said they would come on here and give their side of the story. Never did that either!

You can search billiard place here too.

Great advise Ray, I remember exactly what you talking about, it would be great if there was a specific area to post problems like this in so that it would be easier to research for those interested.

Take care

No word from billiard-place.com on my order. I sent them several emails asking about the order and then one canceling the order. If you use the "contact us" button on a web site it leaves no record of what you sent. With no record, it would be easy to get into a dispute. I found an actual web address in their original e-mail to me welcoming me to the site and I used that this morning to send them an email canceling the order. I now have a record of me canceling the order. My credit card has not been charged.
It seems like it's just a site with an autoreponder for when you place an order. It makes you wonder how many sites are out there like this. Silently running with nobody watching it.
I am looking for 2 1/16 snooker balls and they seem hard to find. I'll start a new thread to see if they are available somewhere.
BTW I live in Durango and can't wait to see the WPBA in Ignacio. I'm buying the full pass!!!!

Do you also carry official regulation snooker balls which are 2 1/16"?

Don't think we have 2 1/16 but as I mentioned to Jim in PM I'll have someone check in the warehouse
come Monday since some items don't make it to the product list.

You have a good memory Ray.
As I recall the incident was about bulbs burning out or some such nonsense.
Don't remember seeing a final wrap-up on that episode.

Don't remember seeing a final wrap-up on that episode.

There was no closure, no returned phone call, no answer to my email request on their website. As Big Truck said, he also committed to him to "tell his side of the story on AZB". He never did that.

Replacement light from Billiard Warehouse works perfectly. Same bulbs as in original light for 7 months with no issues. Highly recommend Billiard Warehouse!

I remember that episode. The smelled rotten from the get go and some didn't like it when that was pointed out. Hid behind hurting the secretary's feelings or some bs during a phone call. Bottom line was they were ripoffs and some just couldn't see that.
