In fact I have never seen a cue that has stainless steel on the shaft side. It's always on the butt side.

The truth hurts. He may not have any choice. Have you ever seem him break?![]()
Bingo.
Prolly cracked/broke the tenon.
Sorry I had league last night couldn't take pics. I'm going to take pics tonight and e-mail them to predator and hope to god they will stand by this thing. I don't know that they have any obligation to do so though. I have been a supporter of their products and have purchased 4 shafts to date.
Back when Shane S worked for them he replaced my 314 shaft at NC when the ferrule cracked. It helped that he was very active on the message boards at the time.
Good luck and let us know what they do.........Paul

I read all the way to the end of this hoping to see carnage and there is none here???? WTF?????
The butt side of the joint is stainless steel - the shaft side is phenolic.

Not to get too far off topic, but the butt side of the joint on my BK2 looks like it's completely phenolic, except of course for the pin.![]()
Note: I was not complaining about being lambasted, but noting the inconsistencies between one saying no damage will happen and the occurance of actual damage happenng.
mail it to them.
they will replace it for free.

I don't know that they are obligated to do that, but Im hoping...
Does anyone have some e-mail addresses for the guys at Predator?
you really played with that phenolic tip? was it any harder for you to spin the CB? what about the little touch shots where you have to kill the cb was it easier for you?
