Blue Diamond Chalk Wearing Out Ferrule???

So it's a MOVE!

That's easy to fade.
You simply out brutal him.
Run out to a hanger 8 and 9 ball, and then put the cue down on the table and go to the counter to get a sandwich and beverage., and eat them before you go back to shoot.

Then, when shooting on the 9 ball, take like 5000 strokes, pull the cue back too far, so that you have to chalk again, rechalk, and then go to shoot, and then stop and put the cue down and make a phone call.
While on the phone, turn to him and ask him how he likes it.
Then shoot the 9 in, and cheer, spin around, and run around the room doing high fives to complete strangers.
Do this type of stuff on every rack.

At the end of the set, if you happen to win, QUIT, and buy everyone in the place a drink on him.
Walk out.
Torture him about it till the end of time.

Believe me, i have run into my fair share of slugs.
Pour a little salt on them and watch them squirm.

Bust out a couple of moves, and put them on suicide watch.

Either that, or play them with a shot clock/chess clock and watch them fall apart.

Personally, i like torturing them.

You are the NUTS man...seriously just sat her laughing hysterically at this.

did anyone stop to think he might be on the cutting edge?

ive been cleaning my shafts with a hacksaw blade since the beginning of time and ive only ruined 3400 hundred ferrules so i assume i will get it right someday-

and if GMAC SAYS HES AHEAD-HES AHEAD

That is so disgustingly low tec....
Have you never heard of chainsaws?...b:boring2:

Yep you need instructions !

Listen I don't need chalking instructions. I was curious if anyone had the same problem. I think the blue diamond is more abrasive.

The chalk is to be put on the tip (the little leather part on top of the ferrule) it wont help the ferrule! Hope this helps ya. Ron

He wonged himself.

Of course, the pitiful break hill hill and crapped in ball by Frankie didn't help, but that was a pretty entertaining finish.

Ferrule looked clean though.
Must have been that sawed off chalk with the tape around it that solved the problem.

:D

Mikey, I was rooting for you to beat Hernandez. Ask anyone in the chat. I really wanted to watch you play Ginky.

Congrats for getting as far as you did. You should have won but Jose pulled that flat rack move on you, after he forced you out of your game by putting you on the clock.

I don't understand how you are wearing out your ferrule. You are barely even getting any chalk on the tip as lightly and quickly as you chalk.

Yea, thanks. I don't think I played too good, so I deserved to lose that match. I don't feel I was playing that slow during the match. I think he just wanted me out of the tournament. He didn't even give me time to switch cues. First match I played Steve Moore, that was a very long match, I was up 6-5, I lose 9-6. But he put Steve in the tournament, so I suspect he didn't want to put him on the clock. Well, regardless whether or not its intentional, I lost and just have to accept it, and play better with a clock, without a clock, on the moon whatever.
Yeah, I'm telling your Blue Diamond is abrasive...

I've never seen a match that literally put half a chat room to sleep with the other half hitting the coffee like the one last night. That was beyond brutal! I thought everyone was exaggerating the slow play but in reality they underplayed it!!! Poor Frankie looked miserable.

I lent a Tad to a guy for a money session.
I got it back with chalk on the ferrule.
That was years ago.
I refuse to even let him take a practise shot with any cue i own since.

I've never rubbed chalk on the ferrule of one of my cues in my life. I always try to use chalk that isn't more than half worn out and I chalk my tip and never touch my ferrule. I don't see how chalking your tip could have any effect on your ferrule unless you are rubbing the ferrule with the chalk.
