I just got done playing at hard times on my 4.5 pocket diamond and ran 268.i am so excited from it. I am going back again tonight to play some more.i have gone back to my roots of playing some straight pool after playing so poorly in osaka japan at the japan open.this was my 11th run over 100 balls in the last 2 weeks.i hope it continues into next year.

Brilliantly done sir.

I have to believe that a 200+ run is one of the difficult accomplishments in all of sports from a playing standpoint.

Great run on any table, but on a Diamond....WOW

Good job parking lot boy.

WOW thats awesome, I have heard the myth of the Great Bobby Chamberlain but now i truelly believe that the man is a legend !!!!!

Break out the camera, who knows maybe you will beat Schmidtie's run on a Diamond. Now that would be great to capture on film.....

Great Shooting !
Steve

i wish to someday break through the 150 Mark, i cant even fathum breaking through to the 268 mark...... Truelly incredible !!!!

Bobby: Congratulations. 268 on a Diamond. That's the second highest run on a diamond I have ever heard about.

Good Lord, that's a lot of balls! Congrats Bobby, incredible achievement! You must be over the moon...

Quite the feat! 14.1 on a Diamond is so much more challenging. The degree of mechanical execution and accuracy it would take to do this on such a table is amazing.

Great news, Bobby. Thanks for sharing with us.

You've always been solid, now you are on the way to stellar!

Bobby:

Come to the Derby and compete in Bob Jewett's straight pool challenge. It , too, takes place on a diamond. The high run last year was John Schmidt's 154.

Prizes are awarded daily for high runs of the day and there is a playoff with the top 8 finishers.

Meet you in the lot.

And don't forget Corey's 153. I think that was Corey's personal high run. The record at DCC is Mika's 160, set the second year.

I thought that Mike Davis had a fairly high run at Derby??
He had a 155 as I recall the second year. It was on a relatively dirty table in the Chapel. I think he said it was his second or third highest run.

a run like that borders on super-human. carfull though.... Paganini played the violin so well, people believed that he sold his soul to the devil. have an escape plan when the mob with torches gathers in your yard. :grin-square:

how did the run end?

I think e need an exibition

I think Bobby and schmidtie need to do an exibition, being that John is the current record holder on a diamond and Bobby is in second from what I have heard.

We can call it : The Diamond Run Challenge
