Bogus Ball..from the start

I used to love the gold diggers, i'd flash all the $$$, good life, etc get what I wanted before the "shopping trip" and tell them good bye. I'd beat them at their own game. They are all whores(the gold diggers) they just get paid differently. If I didnt get what I wanted before the shopping trip then I would have to pass. I don't like whores. I don't pay them or buy presents.

That was fun to watch their greed make them fall apart. Greed is a funny thing, makes girls do stupid things and puts lead in a pool players stroke(sometimes). I don't miss it tho, it gets old after a while. It was fun to beat the at their game for a little while, it got easy with practice. But like many things after you get good the thrill is gone.

We are all whores honey. We just sell different parts of ourselves and our time for different amounts.

I'm not sure Picasso ever got unthrilled with painting, or Beethoven with composing. I think your thrill or lack of it has to do more with what you are doing then how good at it you become.

Every day that passes is costing money on the lease, causing increased hardship on the players, and further ruining the reputation of the organization.

If there is a serious investor, I don't understand why they would wait a month to sit down and talk about the idea.

If I was interested in investing in something, and knew that everyday that past was costing me money, the brand loyalty, and leaving peoples lives up in the air, it would not take me a month to sit down and talk about it.

Ya, in old country...women that is strong like bull, can carry big bundle of sticks up mountain, raise a big family and at least load weapon on battlefield during war...is not overlooked just for being the mean one...

I think, in this case, his choice had more do do with his mother (in some twisted way) than what the mean gal could carry. i was never that impressed with any of her capabilities.

I don't really know what there is for an investor to buy.

The "stadium"? From what I've seen they could rent the TAR studio and get it done just as well and save the expense.

The idea? Seems like that was a little flawed to say the least.

The "organization"? That seems like a contradiction in terms.

Just what is there here to invest in? Why not, if you like the idea, toss your money in fresh and start you own thing at way less cost?

Oh yeah you take your shot and that means you take your chances. Sad thing about the players is that times for them are so desperate to begin with that they take desperate shots. And desperate shots can entail disproportionate collateral damage.

That was a old telemarketing pitch line I picked up along the way and ended up living by in life-to this day. They took a chance and it dont look good.

like i said in a post the other day, is BB should tape as many matches in 5 12-14hours days once every 60 day and put them in a can and release them like game shows do on TV. Pool dont need to be live like golf and basketball-its just not there yet. Neither is poker and its light years ahead of pool. This could have saved lots of players the headache of moving to vegas. they could all show up for a week work like hell and leave. BB would have saved tons of $$$ and so would the players.

I lived in Vegas/LA for 19 years, i had houses/apartments at bothe ends and its expensive to cover 2 nuts. they had no shot at $1000/match to cover their nut had the current BB biz model continued.

If BB is resurrected from its current state, it will be re-tooled completely. Its just silly to believe it will carry on like it has the past 8 months. It will have to be totally re-tooled. Hopefully in that process the players get paid past due income. then see what the future has for them. That arena can be put to good use and pack the house on the days being used and dark the rest of the time and still be viable(for some people-not me).

I'm done now, have to go solve my own problems not talk about other peoples problems any longer today ....

I think BB only cares about 0 of the 3 things bolded.

Daily expenses continue to accrue;
There is no 'brand', unless it is incompetence- and they are really successful at that, have there been any successes in the venture??;
They don't have a conscience, re: the players they tricked.

Pretty much my thoughts. Don't know why anyone would invest in it, and if someone sees potential, and wants to throw $$ at it, why would they (the new investor) waste a month getting things on track?

The funny part about the part in red bold is that when I first heard of BB on FB and read about it, that's what I thought they would be doing. They talked about all these city based teams of Chicago, NY, Atlanta, etc, but all matches were going to be played in Vegas. I figured they were just going to record a "season" in a week and sign all the players to secrecy on the results.

I think bonus ball owes customers and players an apology!

I am aggravated by the lack of ACCOUNTABILITY! no one going to jail! No ones pay is docked! No government agency action! No recourse for management misconduct!

With all that happened, people still wonder why we have Unions? Sadly enough, they can be just a bad if not worse!

I know I'd be on the phone with the NV Office of the Labor Commissioner :

Filing a Claim
I haven't been paid. What should I do?

•First, ask the employer for what you are owed. Then, if you do not receive payment, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Labor Commissioner in Las Vegas or Carson City. For a copy of the wage claim form, click http://www.laborcommissioner.com/forms/WAGE CLAIM FORM 7-11.doc.

The Commissioner looks like he doesn't play that shit!

not enough time has passed for any action form anyone Govt or private. Even if there was sufficient time there are 2 problems:

1. not big enough to be on the Govts radar, not enough victims of fraud to move the needle. And there is no $$$ to go after and nothing to close down, so no action from the Govt will happen

2. And who is going to pay a private lawyer?, retainers for civil matters start at $5,000. no lawyer will take this case with out getting paid first. This makes no sense at all.

the plan is for someone to pick up the arena, re-tool the biz model, make the players whole and move forwards. Larry should be accountable for what he has not performed, and also be credited for what he has accomplished thus far, and existing investors credited as well. How that math works out aint my biz. I really dont know or care.

a apology is worth what it costs-not much at this point.
just sayin'

it makes sense, everybody comes to town for a week +/- and gets the job done.

Larry wanted a live sport with a gate, that wont happen off-strip in Vegas or with pool. I warned him.

Well, one of us knows Vegas, the other is I...

I left Vegas over a year ago, i still own a couple biz's there and make $0, they break even and have a little property left. I was there last week and i will say there was more traffic than i seen there in years, so perhaps it will pick back up again. I dont miss it a bit. Horrible place to live....
