I hit the DOWNLOAD button, and then it asks me which one of these I want. Do I select all or none? If I select none, will I still get the Firefox browser?

Google Earth
Spyware Doctor
Firefox with Google Toolbar
Google Talk
StarOffice (includes Java?)
Norton Security Scan
Picasa
Google Photos Screensaver
Skype

Firefox with google tool bar is all that you need, the rest of that is part of the Google pack, you can later pick and choose which of those you would like to add. I like the Picasa, myself.

I'm going to download it now. Thanks for the suggestion, sde. You, too, Johnnyt!

I did just download the Google Earth, and I can see my house. LOL

I am going to have Keith go outside and stand in the street and see if I can see him waving to me! :D :D

This is fun. :p

WOW. WOW. WOW. I just downloaded the "Firefox with Google Tool Bar" and everything is intact.

Ah, back to normal again.

It seems to run slower. Hey, this Firefox with Google Tool Bar has an automatic spell-checker. I like that a lot! :D

JAM

Now Firefox is running faster than my old IE browser. I am sticking with Firefox for a few weeks. This is really nice. Automatic spell-check. WOW!

It is nice how this thread has a happy ending for me! :D

I'm another one that has Firefox. I still have IE on both computers, but VERY seldom use it. My 'puter is done, by the way. Motherboard. Hope to replace in another week. Anyway, I've never gone back to IE more than once in a great while. And, no matter what Microsoft says, Firefox is still more secure than IE.

I'm glad you like it. You do not have to use just one. You can have both IE and Firefox open at the same time and switch back and forth by clicking in the task bar at the bottom of the page.

My pleasure. It was moving in such a positive direction that I just had to take advantage of finding out about my browser while the getting was good.

And I'm so glad I did, too! :p

This has got to be the funniest response I've had in a while.

Me, the number-one hijacker of threads? Either you're my number-one fan on this forum, or you don't read much. :D

I'll accept my AzBilliards Hijacker Crown and wear it proudly! Thanks so much for the high honor! :)

:D :D LOL. I think the poor fellow is a little misguided. Not worth stepping on, in other words.

I'll save my efforts for a worthy candidate, Punter.

Edit: Still tweaking my Firefox browser. I love it, love it, love it.

I'd like to bet $10,000 that Randy DOES take him up on the offer.....

( note: I said that I'd "LIKE" to bet $10,000. Unfortunately, I don't have the entire $10,000, but I DO have $1.43 and that bets. Wait, wait, my wife just gave me all the money in her purse and now I have $1.74 and THAT bets ) :) :) :)

* IF I lose, you have to come pickup the money. I don't have PayPal.

Please check sofa cushion, car seats, all jeans' pockets, and all cookie jars.

Thanks

As for the whole issue of thread hijacking, no wonder it keeps happening to Grady's threads. He makes one post (the first one) and then disappears. No replies in his own threads.

so I go to Biloxi for 4 days and return to this, Yet another bitter Grady thread. Also, I will challenge anyone to sail off at the blackjack table like I do. If I would have known about the challenge then I could have stayed home and paypal'd someone the 20k before I lost it.
