SUp Neil, howd you end up doing here in Tampa?

re; Broadcast where is this event going to be broadcast tonight???

Haven't played in Tampa since the Big O's tourney where I finished 3rd, going to the one this weekend at Strokers II though I will be there Friday night. Will you be up there?

Lot's of great pool to be had at the Turning Stone, it's so awesome to have a free broadcast too for us poor folk.

Hi everyone!

just peeking at the brackets, wow! There are some crazy first round match ups.

Jeremy Sossei vs. Shaun Wilkie
Corey Dueul vs. Marc Vidal
Liz Ford vs. Caroline Pao (which sucks as they both play out of ABC)
Hopkins vs. Dominguez
Bucky vs. Williams

and the second round looks even crazier... so wish I could be there to sweat the matches! :(

on a side note, I'm happy to see Earl Herring start on a good note! Great guy! Don't know much about his 9-ball, but he plays a mean 14.1 game.

Corey up next on the live stream, He is using the new Concept Cues.
We will be lauching this line of cues in Valley forge.
Me, Corey and a few other Pro players have been working on this line of cues for the last 9 months.

Marc Vidal, wow! He's really bumped his game up in the last year! I'm happy for him!

hill hill with Dueul. We'll see what happens...

It looks like the Tony Robles - Shane Van Boening match will be a good one.

Looking at the brackets, Tony would have to win against Derek Poqirski, possibly face Johnny Archer before reaching a possible match with Shane. Am I missing some info here???

Far more irony in the second round matchup of Jonathan Smith vs George "Ginky" San Souci, who have often practiced with each other for over fifteen years.

Tony and Archer have the most difficult draw of them all it seems. Winner of Robles/Archer probably plays SVB. Winner of that probably plays Dueul/Davis or Bryant then Dennis Hatch! ouch!

Ranking tourney with no seeding ...

I saw that! The whole draw is pretty crazy

Christina, if you're reading this, I'm glad I didn't go to Seatle. I wouldn't want you and I to meet up and TR and SVB to meet up all on the same day - too twilight zone for me! lol

The top half of the second bracket is loaded! How in the world does Johnny keep winning this tournament? I think Lee Van is the only other player to win it the last three years.

What? You aren't coming to Seattle?!?! I was looking forward to our rematch ;)

You'll have to send me updates. I'm so sad I missed Turning Stone this time, I love the venue and he runs a great tournament.

:( yeah I qualified but my job is just too hectic right now! I hope you kick ass over there and we'll just have to have our rematch in Vegas! :)

PM me your phone number - I'll send you updates on the match if SVB and TR play. I will keep them neutrally informative! lol

I'm glad to see Oscar has won his first two! Go Oscar go!

I'm also rooting for my WPBA homegirls who are on the winners side...Allison, Sarah, Karen....turn some suckers on their ears, ladies!

And finally, another shout out to Josh and Louis....go get 'em tigers!

The Tascarella's each won their first match. Congratulations!!. It must be their cues ;) .

Only that I am picking Tony to win those matches. And you can quote me on that Ms. Diep!

Thanks AZ Billiards

I would like to thank AZ Billiards for leaving the live feed on between matches. It is nice for us amateurs to see how the 'Pros' warm up before a match. FYI ASCOLESE set up the same shot over and over. He seemed to have been trying to get position on alternating sides of a ball at the opposite end of the table. It looked as if he got the table speed down perfectly. Stevie Moore seemed to just throw some balls out and shoot them. Well it is 8 to 1 right now. I know how I will practice from now on.

And you can quote me on that Ms. Diep!
