Even Earl the Pearl likes our tables! The Pamola Motor Lodge in Millinocket, Maine has 2 of our restored matching GC3 9' tables and if they are good enough for Earl, that says enough for me.

We really need a new thread to discuss the never ending pursuit of the perfect table.
They have an entire sub-forum for this. Some peoples ego and need for attention is just too big for it.
I’m not Russ......but you deleted most of my post....:.trent plays the victim on this bullshit AZ billiards site and you take my pics out?
Read a lot of Trents past post if y’all want to know why a lot of mechanics on here hate that puck.
And before I get banned for life....witch I’m happy to be gone from this joke site......ask Jay to name just one good mechanic......I need a good laugh.
Good bye to all the key board hero’s that don’t have the balls to sign their real name to their big mouth posts.
REAL NICE FORUM......JOKE
MARK GREGORY
We really need a new thread to discuss the never ending pursuit of the perfect table. I know there was a time when we all played on less than "perfect" tables and somehow we all were perfectly happy playing on them. Actually there were more of us then too. Hmmm.
Now even if a player is happy playing on such a beast it must be because they are just an idiot that doesn't know any better. Nah -- it's not that. Some of us are just content walking along the local hiking trail. We really don't need to be constantly reminded that climbing Mt Everest is a much more worthy pursuit.
Why you got so upset on this thread is beyond me Mark. I guess you and Glen have a bone to pick with Trent. I didn't see anything wrong with him posting this photo of the Centennial he worked on. Maybe you could have done as good or better, but that does not mean he did anything wrong. To answer your question, I have a great deal of respect for Ernesto Dominguez. He may have worked on more tables than anyone else in the last twenty five years. Ernesto has been doing all the big poolrooms out West for decades now. I don't think it's just a coincidence that all the room owners call on him.
As far as table restorations go, George Michaels in San Francisco turned out many beautiful Anniversary and Centennials over the years. Whether he is still active I don't know. I'm not trying to compare either of these guys with you Mark, just saying that there are other people who can set up a pool table and make it look nice and play good. IMO this is not a contest to see who is best. They provide a service just like you do.
Good luck to you in the future. I hope you can find a way to tone down your anger. That only makes you look bad, and for what? What do you accomplish by demeaning the work of another man who is in the same business as you?

These guys would play on the floor if they had to, to get the money!
Nice table Trent. Amazing to see a one owner Centennial.
BTW what color simonis is that? standard green? I am thinking about english green for my next recover.

Yes, they are having fun! Click me
Some people even don't have to gamble to enjoy their lives
Apparently they have more fun than some grumpy ones who proclaim that only excellence for $$$$ will satisfy.
A five-figure table would be a total waste for my skills. I don't need a Rolls-Royce either and my name is not Trump. I am just a person happy with what I have and I try to improve my skills to a level that would justify playing on the cheapest table mentioned in this thread.
Their problem with Trent is that he actively harasses them in threads in the mechanics section. He also inserted himself into my thread about the work I had to extend the subrails on my Gold Crown III in Germany, and was thoroughly unpleasant and negative about the results, regardless of the fact that a. the German mechanic in question was my only option and b. I was fairly happy with the results and my German friends who've played on it do very much think it plays much better than all the tables at our billiard club.
He did absolutely everything he could to tear down any good feelings I had about getting a nice table to play on. That thread was one of the rare times that Glen didn't go out of his way to point out bits of hack work, because he knew the limited circumstances I was in, but Trent picked up the torch and lit the entire thread on flame, arguing with Glen despite my requests that he do so elsewhere.
So, yeah. That's just a small example of why some might not like him much.
Short Bus Russ
I get it Russ. They used this thread as an opportunity to get even with Trent. Have you ever heard the phrase, "Two wrongs don't make a right."
all this hatred reminds me too much of politics nowadays...
pretty sad...grown up men acting like girls...
:frown:
Meh... I don't know about "getting even"... I am thinking I'd just be happy with him not posting much at all, and if getting a little of his own medicine helps that along, I certainly won't shed a tear.
He really is an extremely nasty person.
