Bryan Mordt just sent me a cue

Good luck with the new BCM. I'm also interested in how they play. I really like his "straightforward" approach with his plain jane models. It's easy to see that it's a custom cue and the wood he uses also seems to be first rate.

Not to hi-jack your thread but I have owned a BCM cue and they are truly under rated. A very well balanced and solid hitting cue. The fit and finish rates up there with Mottey and Stroud. I don't think you can get a better cue for the money. Would like to see the pictures and see what you think about yours.

My player is a Bryan Mordt since September/October now- Bryan (next to he is a really nice guy :p) is doing a great craftmanship. And he brings all out of wood you could bring out. Fantastic look after his good finish. I still love the amazing Cocobolo-Baby. And his prices are very good also. Contact him- he will do the best he can do for you,

here is my Cocobolo-Baby-

Here're some pictures of the cue! i used Bryan's pics because they're way better than anything i could have taken.

basically i have to agree with what everyone has told me about bryan's cues. it hits soft to medium with lots of feedback! I asked bryan to put on a soft black leather wrap on the cue and he picked out a fantastic wrap for me!

at first i wasn't sure if i was digging the cue because it hits way softer than the cues i normally use but after putting it through the paces i really like it. i've been playing really good (for me...) since i picked up the cue.

Bryan was really easy to work with and really just a cool guy to BS with. after talking to bryan for a few minutes you really get an idea of the kind of guy he is. he seems to be a stickler for details and you can hear in his voice how much he likes pool in general

i give the cue and the maker 2 thumbs up

Sam,

Beautiful cue. I like those stitch rings and the leather wrap. I hit with his cue at the WCCS. I like the way it hit very solid. Plus Bryan is a SUPER NICE guy and very easy to deal with . Bryan is a PRO when's come to taking pictures. Let me know how you like that hit.

Kenny

Very nice cue Sam. Hope it serves you well. I may look into one of Bryan's cue's soon. Thanks for showing pictures <<ED

I have a John "Jack" Madden cocobolo cue that looks VERY similar to yours, except I have 2 fiddleback shafts with mine. You have a very nice cue!

Thanks Kenny and Ed! so far the cue's done nothing but good things for me. i'm still adjusting and maybe it's the honeymoon period but i've been playing pretty strong (for me....) with the cue since i got it.

the handle is thinner than what i'm used to so that's taking more getting used to than i thought it would but the shaft taper is really comfortable.

Ive been on Bryans band wagon for a long time.Prices right, actually too low.Much attention to detail and a nice feel and hit.The only thing he needs is someone to promote him.

Nice Cue-

You made the right move, Sam. The cue looks great. I can't wait to see it and hit a few balls with that bad boy. See you at Crown some Sunday!
