Bucktooth vs. Fatboy: The Video

Hi Justin,

Can't we get the video with the actual sound?

Also.. Just wanted to let everyone know I appreciated the Shane Alex matches and other feed so much, I thought a donation above and beyond the pay per view was in order.

To all AZer's, if you have watched and have not yet donated, please consider a small donation, $10 - $20, whatever you can afford, to help defray some of their expenses.

Chris

Chris, I'm in for $10. Just tell me where to paypal it to.

Great stuff! Another "first" from TAR.

Beat you to it Chris. :D I donated last week when I noticed the paypal donate link on their home page,.. top right corner. (not bragging... advocating! :D )

Got the video up from this notorious meeting.

Audio was bad on the source footage so I put what I thought was an appropriate little tune on top of it. I left a little of Tooth in because it is funny.

The high res DivX version is here:

The low res YouTube version is here:

Just another night in the TAR booth.. :D :p

That was a cool video, but all the talk about 100K, where was that money? Fatboy only had like 30 or 40K in his hand when he was barking at tooth. I'm not super rich or anything, but I have 50K in cash and that was not even 50K. Maybe he had more in the bag and I just didn't see it.

Would have been much better to hear what they were saying rather than the music that covered everything up.

I just measured one of the $100,000 stacks I have laying around and it is only around 4" high.

Actually, I don't "think" a 100 dollar bill is any thinker than 20 lb. bond paper, so 1,000 of them would be about the height of 2 reams of bond paper. That would be around 4". Sure seems like it would be a lot higher but I don't think it is. Just a guess.

After finally seeing it I dont think it was quite bail out that folks made it out to be .... sure tooth got out of the booth,( im a poet and didnt even know it ) but it looked like he was calling Fatboy to follow.....cant tell with out the audio.....

I agree. I don't see what all the hubub is about.

P.S. I've never seen "hubub" written before so I'm assuming i'm spelling it correctly.

this is $50,000 in hundreds. Fatboys money looked like no more than 4 $10,000 bands. Either way it was a lot, but definitely not anywhere close to $100,000.

That is also used money and not brand new from the bank. I don't think $10,000.00 in new money is more than 1/2 inch if my faded memory can recollect that far back.lol:D

I just did a little research and apparently dollar bills are .0043" thick. So 1,000 of them would be about 4.3" thick. That would be brand new or completely flat, bundled bills. I'm sure a bundle of used bills would be a lot thicker. If they were brand new bill I'll bet you could easily hold $100,000 in one hand. Unless you had small hands.

I believe he told us he had $65K. But that may have only been what he pulled out of the bag. I believe Bucktooth showed ~ $20K-$40K in one pocket. I'm pretty sure he had more in another pocket.

But, it was pretty clear that Bucktooth didn't run away. There was continued discussion, but he's motioning about going to play the Keno game. Fatboy wanted to flip; Bucktooth wanted to go play Keno.

I wish I was actually in the booth when it happened rather than off to get my beer.

The video looks super.

One thing that seems to be overlooked is,,,,,,,,,,,NOTHING HAPPENED.

I'm not knocking the Tooth or Fatboy. It takes at least two people to gamble and for what ever reason, it didn't come off.

30 years ago in Detroit, Jew Paul and others used to play 6 figure sets on a regular basis. I have personally seen, Berney Schwartz matched up with Cornbread Red with a total of $500K on the light and almost that much on the rail.

The point of this is, that was 1970s cash. What does that say for today's "Big Time Gamblers"? We gasp, in awe, of the $100K "Flash Cash" that never saw action.

Other than Bucktooth, Fatboy and maybe Harry Platis not many would have even made it through the double front doors in Detroit.

Gambling today? NOT.

that is fairly new money that Negreanu is holding and the $50,000 bricks are bundled very tightly. $100,000 in $10,000 bundles even if they are bundled very tightly will be 8-9 inches thick minimum.

Exactly

Exactly...

This is pretty much nonense to me. I am so tired of woofing.

I used to go to more tourneyments than I do now but, I always thought Beenie Weenie was a class guy. He didnt spend a lifetime woofing, just made a game and played.

To me, it appears instead of pool talent, we have developed a group of people we admire for woofing ability verses gambling. It wears me out. I would rather watch a $500 set than seen these jackoffs woof about $100K of showing and nothing happens.

I guess you all can be impressed by this sillyness, I prefer to see a couple guys with pride, make a game (and it doesnt have to be the nutz) and play.

Probably the same guys who like todays "music" verses musicians with a talent.

UGH!

I prefer to see a conversation without namecalling or insults. I guess noones getting what they want today.

Like I said earlier.....
Whole lotta fuss about ...ehh...not so much....

Fatboy didnt have a "sack FULL" ...he had a bag..with some money in it..amongst a bunch of other shit.....

Tooth didnt Shut up and "RUN" away......

almost wish I didnt see the vid....kinda like finding out Santa isnt real.....

either way.. THANKS a bunch to TAR.. you guys rock...gonna stop by and by my Tshirt today...
