Since there has been so much talk lately.....here he is, in all hs glory. Caught him this time in a more natural setting...(outside a poolroom, for the first time.)

He's a hell of a guy....I have truly enjoyed him over the years. And he's really going to be missed someday. Hopefully not anytime soon...

Thanks for all the laughs!! From one of your biggest fans...

Im glad we have the Beard Interview.

Hey Freddy- How about interviewing George Rood also? Thay guy played better and met more champions I think. Must be near 90 by now.

Steve Booth has an interview he did in 2007 with George Rood posted on OnePocket.ORG. Great interview and a great man to hear tell stories. I've been lucky enough to see him and talk with him at the last 2 DCC's.

Rick, great "sketch" of Bunny...it really captures his "character"!

I agree with the sketch capturing his character. He almost reminds me a little of Red Skelton, both very kind-hearted comedians who truly don't mean any harm! :)

Bunny the Rogue

Rick, you did him justice.

Just finished editing part 2 of Bunnys nite club act (with music incidentally).
So part 1 and 2 of Randi Givens interview with Bunny is up, and part 1 and 2 of the audio of Bunny's nite club act is also now up. Truthfully, the jokes are horribly corny but I still laughed my ass off.

Thanks Freddy!

He's quite the guy. I listened to both of the night club acts....Only a couple of the jokes I haven't heard previously. He can sure spit em' out.

Thanks for the links!

George had a fall & is now in a nursing facility.I think he is 93.It wouldn't surprise anyone to see him back in the poolroom,He's a tough old bird

I was looking through some old posts today and didn't catch this last posting about George's "fall" until now. Anyone have any updated info on George's condition? How about an address to send him a card? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

P&P is healthy, he has pleny of time left. I remeber him 20 years ago he was like 110 back then and looked the same, I didnt see him for about 10 or 12 years and when I saw him he was the same, meanwhile i'm falling apart.

George is the last living connection with the Greenleaf era. In fact George played him. He knew Ponzi, St. Jean and Rudolf too, and all the all time greats. He's well over 90 now.

Roller, thanks for the update. Hopefully, he'll be up to the trip to the DCC in January. I know he really enjoys getting to share his stories and scrapbook with everyone in Louisville.

Rick,

Great shot. Speaking of shot, Bunny got me with the flower last time in Vegas. I can't believe I fell for it!

I have met P & P a number of times and each one a little differtent from the last. "Hey POTS AND PANS" I would should and a big smile would turn around and say "whats shakin slim?" not sure if he calls everyone slim if he dont remember their name but slim seems to be what he likes to call me. I can't get a lollypop out of him but it seems like a hanger for my girlfriend or my kids. Agreed he can be overbaring depening where you are sat but no he means NO harm and is actually quite funny. Another Legend in the pool world. Hope he lives to 110 at least.

Not sure if he still has it or not but he used to carry a pillow around for the bleachers seats to sit on. its said "Bunny Rogoff, Charlie Chaplin or Pots and pans whicher ever makes you smile most" I think if maybe we all thought a little like Pots and Pans we all may be in a better place :)
