That's really cool. He's been the greatest player to have never won a "major" for years. He's a deserving champion, I'm just more than slightly miffed not being able to watch it...

Also miffed that Kuo beat out Johnny, costing me a giant chunk of v-cash. :D

Looks like Filipinos won more championships than any other nation in the past decade. And congrats to Bustamante.
 
Not his first major!!!

This was by no means Bustamante's first major title! He has won for example many Japan Open Championships, Turning Stone Classic, World Pool Masters, Sands Regency Open, US Pro Tour Championships...

Or are all of ya those yankees who think that the only "Major" besides World champs is the US Open?! ;)

I am so glad he won! He showed tremendous courage and heart in 2002 when he found out his daughter had died, and went on to take 2nd in the WPC, losing to Earl in the finals. I hope he wins the US Open this year too.

Congrats Django, no less than you deserve, I feel this is a victory for everyone in world pool, just so pleased!!

Also feeling pretty smug after coming up aces on my first ever Vbet too:) The way he was downing racks just seemed to reflect the heart and desire for getting to the winning post this time round.
