You should have seen when Alcano played Bartram last year at Cuemaster in Norfolk.. The score was not that far off but enough so that Alcano would have to fall asleep for Bartram to catch up.

My point is, those are calculated scores to keep your opponent to keep trying.

Same goes with Django, he knows that he will outrun the nuts that he was giving out to those guys.

Alex is the best among these guys in giving out handicaps and he usually will come out of with the most outlandish handicaps and still win. Case in point, he used to give Watson the 7 and last three, while he was robbing him.

Late 90's, Efren played one of those European champions 8 ball in Norfolk, even game with a spot: race to 11, 8 games on the wire. Efren beat the dude three sets with the guy winning one game per set. Now, that was a monster handicap!!!

Lesson learned: DFWTP!!!

CB got in there with a monster and things didn't go his way. I liked that game better than asking for the 8 or the 7. Maybe CB can get the last 4 or 5 now and win it all back. After watching that match I feel like it comes down to how to handicap it. I know CB can play better than that but that's not the point. I got no clue how to make that game fair. Plus I think he should have played on a table without worn in cloth so he could have really taken advantage of his break. Buste hits center pocket so a table that plays a little tighter isn't worth quite as much with him.

CB is still a rockstar though. I look for him to come out ahead before the derby ends.

Whenever a Pinoy snaps someone off this guy will chime in about how the other guy had no shot and is a donkey for thinking he could beat a mighty Pinoy. He is simply a professional nut hanger.

Most every Filipino player I know especially the legends like Bustamante and Efren set the standard for class and grace in our game. This dingus is the exception that proves the rule.

I watched Bustamante play Archer (another fairly competent shooter in a Joss Finally in New Bedford, MA. If I remember right, Bustamante won the lag and preceeded to run 5 racks on Archer in a race to 9. He didn't make a ball on the break, and Archer ran out. Then Archer didn't make a ball on the break, and Busty ran out the set, for the 9-1 victory. Who on earth outruns that?

What a disrespectful thing to say!! Who are you to tell Chris how to run his pool career. The guy has booked quite a number of high profile winning matches. He keeps extending himself, trying to find out how good he is. He is DAMN good, and getting better. Ok, sure, I would have bet on Bustamante on this one, but it took a lot of balls to step up there and take a shot. Certainly a hell of a lot more balls than it takes to come on a forum and bash the guy for trying. i think the one of the only guys on earth that could have run out the nuts on that would have been archer. he did snap off 13 in a row and can run packs.
