butts and butts

warning: this first question is only partially pool-related. and the second may be one of the dumbest pool questions ever asked in this forum.

first, my gf's and i know how some (not alll!) guys are always lamping a girl's butt when she leans over to shoot a pool shot. i asked my mom about it and she laughed and said we might as well get upset with ocean tides or the law of gravity, it's just the way life is.

but couldn't there be a tad more subtlety involved? a glance rather than an ogle? no biggie, just curious?

now, a cue question. has anyone ever made a cue stick with finger indentations in the grip part?

like six or eight grooves so the fingers could slide in at different places (letting the shot dictate where on the butt -- butts again! -- you need to hold the cue).

of course this may be:

illegal in pool rules,
impractical in manufacturing,
of no help in playing,
and
useful only in spotlighting the ignorance of this poster!

Two part question deserves a two part answer.

1) If this needs to be explained, you may be too young for this forum.

2) I imagine for the same reason that finger grooves are not manufactured (or custom made) on tennis racquets, golf clubs, or baseball bats.

Hope this helps with your dilema.

I think you'll find your wares here.

The pink one looks like a winner.

I'm sorry to highjack your thread, but I would like to make a vote to have Craig delete this pic from his computer . This pic has highjacked more topics than any I have seen, and it hurts my soul to see it.

I was always an ogler myself, but I had a friend named Tommy "One Eyes" Sanders who was a glancer. We called him "One Eyes" on account of his right eye not working. I'd say. "Man, did you see the caboose on that one!" And Tommy would look at me with his one good eye and say. "Not really." Anyway, we kind of grew out of that and moved on.
There's a cuemaker around Joplin, Mo that has put handles on the butts of some of his cues. It looks like one side of an old style rolling pin. Not exactly my cup of tea, but some like it.

Saw one last week!!!!

While playing our first week of APA for the summer session, we went to a bar that just opened and has an APA team. They only had 2 bar cues - both being these Dooley handled stealth cues. Bartender said that they got those cues, so that nobody wants to steal them.
Of course if the bar was located in the 700 block of Bourbon Street, that would be another story.

This thread needed to be hijacked, and no matter what you all say my girls do put a high rise in your Levis!!!!

Being Jealous will get you know where!!:D

We have 2 woman in my APA league that use the stealth stick and both complain that the grooves for your fingers are nice but the top of the stick is a little awkward.

I've never held the sticks so I can't comment.

No comment on the butt thing; you should be tactful about it.

Those cues are crazy. They look like they might come with batteries, though, and that's a little creepy.
