CA$H Cues - Tommy's Contact Info

Patents are funny... If the patent claim that mentions the hollow section also claims a ferrule or references a ferrule, then a shaft like the one in the pic would not violate it. It just depends how broad a claim the patent attorneys were able to get, and had the foresight to go after.

Anyway pred patents are about to expire. I fully expect complete knockoffs being mass produced on the market in the next few yrs.

I found this on another site:

"Predator has patent# 5725437 for the ferrule. and patent# 6162128 for the internal boring of the shaft."

This one mentions the ferrule several times:

http://www.wikipatents.com/US-Patent-6162128/billiardpool-cue

I was hoping the ferrule-less shaft really did the LD trick like the Predator shafts, like Tommy claimed. It looks like he wasn't telling the whole story.

Nope, I've sent letters to two different addresses and 3 different names...filed police and FBI reports...called multiple numbers....and sent email to at least 3 different addresses....

and not one peep. Only once did I talk to someone, an older woman who lives at the V.T. Hindman address and she said she didn't know any Tommy and hung up.

That's all that there is right now.

Greg

I can understand why hangemhigh has ducked out with no contact if he owes all these people money. What I don't understand is why one of the guys who actually represent the Ca$h Cues brand hasn't come on here explaining their side.

If it were my company, I would try to retain my reputation and let people know this guy was not affiliated with us and was a dealer like many others (if that was the case). I just think if they were not involved in any of the shenanigans, they should make it widely known.

My opinion anyway.

I will happily order a shaft from him if he's willing to build me one for my OB cue (without any patent infringing techniques of course). Their contact info is online, if anyone else is interested in getting in touch:

Jeez-

Sounds like the little old lady (based on the voice) that I spoke to a couple of months ago. She told me that Tommy was at a Doctor's appointment.

Sad-this old lady is probably pretty tired of covering for Tommy-maybe he should get her out of the middle.

Hell-maybe it is Tommy doing voice imitations.

Maybe he is in Jail for something else, and doesn't get to respond to PMs.

I'm lucky-I just got singed, others got burned bad.

Update.

I just had a 20 minute conversation with Jess June from World Class Cues and this is what he had to say.

Jess hasn't talked to Tommy/Sam, who also went by Tony as well, in 3 or 4 months. Jess and his partner Tommy Clements (no connection to Tommy Stanfill/Tommy Hindman/Sam Engles) were out almost $10,000, so they took Tommy to court. Unfortunately they lost because the agreement they had with Tommy Stanfill was only verbal. They built all of those shafts and never saw a dime. WCC was nearly put out of business by Tommy's actions and with shop damage on two other occasions, the shop hasn't been running in months. They purchased their shop from Bill McDaniels but were unable to procure the name for the shop. So, they changed the name to WCC. The CA$H cue line came about from a guy convincing them to start a line of "lower end cues" using John Davis blanks. But, the CA$H cue line caused them a lot of problems because of Tommy. So, recently... Jess June met with John Davis when he was in town and apparently, Tommy Stanfill had talked to John Davis about working together recently/soon in the same type of capacity that Jess and Tommy were working in. Jess didn't have any more details on this but asked if I could find John Davis' phone number so he could talk to them. Jess isn't a computer guy but said he would try to get on AZ and he would try to shed any more light he could. He also said that if I wanted to take legal action, he would be more than happy to provide any support necessary. Jess did say that he has received many phone calls from people Tommy ripped off. Many more than the people posting on AZBilliards.

That's what I know right now.

Does anyone have John Davis' phone number?

Greg

Contact forum member jazznpool he has been buying and selling blanks from John Davis on the forum for a couple of years, I suspect he may have the information your looking for.

Man I am really sorry that so many were taken advantage of by Tommy or who ever he really is, I hope that he is brought to Justis even if it is only privately administered!! I mean with so many people looking for him it is only a matter of time before he runs into the wrong person or people.

I have watched this thread the whole time and I can't believe this situation this guy has caused you and everyone involved.

What about local police in his hometown, cant they put the pressure on this guy? Fraud, triple identity?

Thanks Manwon. And happy belated 52!

Thanks very much, and again I am sorry about all the trouble this guy has caused the forum. I am one of the lucky ones, I had some dealings with him around a year ago and everything went well. But man when I read this crap and realize I could have been out around $1000, it really makes me sick. The sad part is it is getting harder and harder to trust anyone on line, and these rip off artists are making that much harder for honest people to do business.

Like I have said from the beginning is that I-Trader means nothing, in the last few months there have been a number transactions with respected members who end up screwing other members. I don't know if this is premeditated or they just fall on hard times and not taking care of their obligations is the easy way out for them.

I hope things work out for everyone involved and I hope the Idiot who caused these problems gets taken for St.Louis Cab ride!!!!;)
