Ok, I just got back from the 2nd to last week in my 9-ball league and I am fuming. My captain texted me an hour before the match saying he wasn't gonna be there. I'm not playing next session and he didn't know that so I texted him back "Alright well I was gonna tell you tonight but since you're not gonna be here, I'll tell you now. I'm not gonna be coming back for 9-ball. The ride is too long (40 mins), it's too much money ($12 plus about $8 in gas), and I honestly don't enjoy 9-ball that much. (this is my first session playing it). Sorry." So I get no text back until about 5 minutes after I start playing my singles match (we play 3 singles and 2 doubles, 4 person teams and everyone plays). He says "Leave now dont need you", even though they did because without me we'd have to forfeit 2 matches. Needless to say, I got very upset but ignored him and won my match. So after that, I go to play my doubles match and I guess he got wind of it because just as we were about to start, I get a text from him saying "You are not playing doubles" So I say "You got it", apologize to everyone for him, pack my stuff up and leave without paying, absolutely steaming. Half an hour later before I get home, I get a text from him saying I owe the APA operator the $12 for the match. I told him to pay it himself, along with some other things. Now, my question is, will the operator make me pay it if he complains or will he have to pay it since he's the captain, along with the fact that he told me to go home when I was willing the stay, finish the match, and pay? Sorry for the long post!
