Hello Everyone

I am just curious about some cue case. I walked into a pool room yesterday afternoon in NYC & saw this player putting his cue away into a
4x8 Louis Vuitton cue case. I mean that case is freaking AWSOME !!!!! wanted to take some pic's of it but couldn't as that player was rushing out the door.
wondering if anyone knows who the guy was & wanted to ask him where he get that case from.

went down to the pool room today and managed to find out what the guy name is with the LV case. the employee there told me i might able to catch him over the weekend or some day on the week days. hope i can take a pic's of his case & get some information from him.
I'm sure there NYC member on AZB here & is there anyone got a pic's of the case, please post it to view.

considering the LV brand/manufacturer does NOT produce bolts of their material for sale to be used at the customers disposition. the guy is walking around with a case made of fake materials. although its an original idea. id prefer walking around with a dime a dozen case rather than walking around with a tacky gawdy fake material case... to each his own i guess!

delete... wrong area

Yeh I was thinking it probably had to be a knockoff. Im sure you could order the LV Monogram print from Fleabay that no one could tell the difference.

<---- Knows way to much about purses because my wife has expensive taste...

Vuitton case

You can try doing a search on here for pictures. I know I've seen at least two different postings for them here on AZB. One I believe had a very plush green lining in the case. Looked very soft and cozy. They were definitely custom cue cases though.

I was thinking the same thing Rex, I remember see them on here somewhere.

Um....actually, I seem to recall some time ago reading about LV actually making a cue case, seems to be a memory from a few years ago...maybe three or four?. You may want to try GOOGLE....I have not.

I've seen several LV cases pop up over on TheSnookerForum.com, and they are not authentic by LV. I believe they claim they are made in Taiwan, maybe China,,,,,,imagine that!

You do know that Louis Vuitton does bespoke (custom) work don't you? For the right amount of money they will probably build you a case for just about anything you want to encase.

For example: here is a bespoke humidor from LV - http://www.luxist.com/2010/04/17/bespoke-louis-vuitton-humidor-trunk-for-68-000/

$68,000. If you saw this would you think it was a "fake" just because you had never seen one before?

Custom Leather Products

Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Hermes...all of them make custom bespoke products, but you can't just walk into ANY of their stores. Only selected stores make bespoke custom cases. For instance Prada, it's from Milan but you can't walk into any Prada outlet in Milan and get them to make you a specific bag in ostrich leather, only the main store located at the Piazza del Duomo will cater to you.

LV will make you special golf bags, bags for your dogs, your cats, even your kids. Money talks...

I can't be sure the one you're referring to is real or fake but i am Certain LV or any of the brands i mentioned above will make bespoke cases.
Well there's only one way to find out...check the case for the workmanship, if something about the workmanship suggest it's cheap or fake then it's a fake. Cos when it's something this bespoke and expensive NOTHING about it should case you to think it's cheap. Another tell tale sign...if all 4 of the cues in the cases are from Cuetec...

Do try to snap some spy pics for us incase the owner doesn't wanna share..i'd love to see how LV designs a 4x8, tube case like a justis or like their LV trunks? Now u got me thinking....

The case that I saw pictures of was a butterfly case.

This is the "designer" Case that was posted a while back

I don't know if this was purported to be from Versace. I think that this is the case that Rex and Rusty are thinking of I had it categorized under "unknown" in my image collection.

P.S. looking at the prices for designer bags I don't want to hear one person complain about the price of our cases. (not that anyone does anyway)

Looking at the zipper this case cannot be branded...even if a huge YKK is stamped on it it still cannot be from one of those big italian or french brands.

The butterfly LV case showed earlier in brown LV Damier print is a fake...and the lowest grade kind of fake..didn't even bother with the hardwares. Infact i don't think it even constitue as a fake, they probably just looked for a damier print canvas and made a case, doesn't seem to have any LV logos or hardware anywhere on that case.
