i paid for 3 cases,around $950 and have been given promises such as i will mail tomorrow for 3 months,now his phone is out

this is aa alert to you not to buy from him until you hear that he is actually delivering his cases

his phone is removed and after months of the same run around,i have been forced to assume he is not an honest person

if he delivers the cases i will let you know,but as of now beware
 
Sorry to hear about your troubles, hope this works out well. This forum is a big deal if you have pool related stuff to sell, you can do well on here as long as you take care of people. I have seen too many people to list on here who sell stuff and do not deliver as promised, do not deliver at all or just plain and simple do not respond in a timely manner. I have seen many build a great rep though and AZB has made them and they owe it to this forum for some of there success.

Word of mouth is a big thing and if you have one unsatisfied person who is vocal you might have lost 10 sales right there. We have many talented people on here but some of there customer service plain and simple sucks. You want a job done poorly pay someone in full, I am unsure why anyone gives some of these people full payment and gives trust to them, you do not see SW taking full deposits, build what you say on time and then get paid for it, for custom stuff sure you can take a small deposit for materials.

Sorry to hear more bad news about this, but it can't be a huge surprise for anyone at this point - it's had a big, red target on its back for a long time.

Not sure if he can be trusted or not I don't know him but there is a Thread in the for sale section that says he is overwhelmed and way behind. JB cases is kinda vouching for him and offering a free soft case to anyone waiting for a chaz case to hold them over. A very nice jester for a competitor.
 
Have you been contacted by "Charles"? He is supposedly handling the customer support for Chaz so he can focus on getting the cases out. You can see my posts in the for sale section thread for details but I was told that my case was finished and would ship out the first week of Feb. I still have not received it
 
I would like to see a list of everyone who ordered from Chaz and when they ordered to get some kind of time line. I started talking with Chaz on 04-09-2009 and sent a $150.00 deposit about a week later. No case, no pictures but plenty of promises, I also sent an email about a week ago and haven't heard anything back. Hope something gets sorted out in the near future.

you should have asked for pics of the cases!!!!!!!!! lol i'm just messin with you. this isn't the 1st time i've heard about this guy doing this. i think there's another thread just about him. from what i understand he's a newer maker that got in over his head

Sorry to hear about this Dean, you certainly don't deserve this kind of treatment, I hope things are resolved in your favor and quickly. I checked the guy's Rep a little while ago I doubt that he will be able take advantage of anyone else, it looks like the entire forum gave the guy Red Rep.
