...There is another player who prides himself on being a hick if you get my drift. He professes to be a real gentleman and I think he tries but damn he gets into a lot of arguments. I cant imagine anyone getting much the best of him however so forget it- I am not picking him.

And JAM, this thread is not about JEREMY or any other named CHAMPION and it is not my intention to talk negatively about anyone. The thread was a genuine concern and I wanted to know if anyone has heard of a TOP PLAYER being injured and in the hospital.
It is a rumor and nothing more unless someone says so and so is banged up and in the hospital. The rumor sounded rather serious so I inquired.
The thread wasn't started to point fingers at any player because of attitudes or any other reason. Everyone knows that many top pool players have attitudes aplenty so it could be anyone or no one.

However, now that the dialogue has transpired, I am curious as to WHO the TOP PLAYER is that was injured and in the hospital.
Since the thread was initiated, worthy of inquiry, I was hoping it would lead to an answer, as opposed to leaving it hanging up in the air.
In sum, it is either a rumor or a fact. If it is a fact, I hope we all find out what it is.

I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who once got his ass kicked in a pool room. Word on the street was he could play a little but not enough to airbarrel random strangers in fresh off the street. If I get any more details I'll start a new thread titled:

THAT comment of YOURS is just one of several hundred dumb comments made on here every day. Since ABC, CNN, FOX or MSNBC don't cover pool shananigans, and since neither do they have pool related trinkets, doodads or baubles advertized on TV, and since People Magazine, Time & Newsweek don't have a pocket billiards gosspi colum or column, I don't know which it is but you know what I mean, then we get to get our daily scoop of what's going on in pooldom here at AZBilliards. And in between the A and the Z is the letter R, which is for the rumor mill dept of our hallowed forum.
I like almost anything from Red Lobster. And I like almost any thread started by Joey A, so I for one DID enjoy this thread and apparently, so did some of my other esteemed cronies.
Even Bill Shakesphere would have been proud of this thread for it's literary content alone. Heck, in this thread, we, as concerned AZCitizens, did our own version of detective work (it's not an official COLD case just yet), we had some good public service announcements of top shelf quality that were beyond repute and we very nicely aired some dirty laundry without a whole lot of slander. In an effort to curtail false rumors from being bantered about, we tried real hard to come up with some facts. Whether they fit or not was beside the point. We were just brain-storming.

Ironman just talked to Jeremy Jones and Jeremy said all is quiet and there have been no altercations with anyone.
Since he is on the golf course right now, he did ask that y'all in the gossip gallery hold it down as he is trying to hit a 6 iron 200 yards stiff to the pin.
He knows he's Double J, but he thinks he's Tiger Woods! LOL

My life is the stereotype of a "wasted youth" as I did spend most of my time in poolrooms. When I was 16, I knew my favorite place in the whole world was a stinky ol' poolroom.
I may have grown old but that doesn't mean I have to grow up!
