Chapter 6, Departure from Texas

I fear that the end of "her" dream finds "her" in worse shape than broke. It is entirely possible that the lifestyle "she" has chosen will get her seriously hurt or killed some day. Breaking into trucks for a place to sleep is one example. That alone could have gotten her killed. A "woman" travelling alone flashing wads of cash (which I doubt she actually has) can get her hurt...or killed.

"She" is living a dangerous lifestyle....but a homeless shelter is a step UP in the direction "her" life is going in at the moment.

Pardon all the parentheses.....I have my reasons for them!!!

I didn't read the other threads. Why is "she" and "woman" in "parentheses?"

Did I read somewhere that Rhea was once a man? Is that true or just mean internet knocking?

New Twist

Chapter 7 - "Identity Revealed" Rhea is actually the sole heiress to the Brooks running shoe fortune and has already inked a movie deal with the lead being played by Hilary Swank.

Yes....you probably did read that...because it was written that way in another thread.

Now, I do not know the truth to this...so I choose to call Rhea a "she"...but in parentheses.

Rhea -

I don't know you but these people are right. Stop with this pipe-dream and get yourself a real job. Writing these stories about how you grinded all day in a few matches, tournaments, etc, and to say you "had a good day at $65 winner" is making you look bad.

You need to get yourself a job and grind that out. Good luck in your grind.

Enough with all of your common sense, nonsense, and sound advice, ain't no one here got no time for none of that....... Girl has a book to write!!!

Rhea did post that she was once a man. It was why she was banned from playing in the women's event at Big Tyme's? (Well, it's more complicated than that but it was the start of it.)

It was in another chapter 5 thread that got moved to NPR cause it became a discussion on gender, etc. Not sure if it's still there or if it got deleted.

I got a title for the book: Nickel and Dimed - My Life on the Road.

Everything you say is right, but Rhea unless I missed something has no Husband, Wife, or Kids to support back home.

She is trying to follow some golden rainbow she think is there for her. If she dies along the way, and no one come forward to claim her body.

Hopefully she will be buried like we to in Maricopa County in a Gave Yard in the desert reserved for those who died alone in the World.

No one can change Rhea mind about follow this dream, until Rhea realizes it is time to leave the road her self.

I believe the Olympics allow transgenders to compete in their new sexes category if they had the sex reassignment surgery and 2 years of hormone treatment. So it depends on her situation maybe she shouldn't be allowed in women's events.

I was contacted by Ryan yesterday, he said that he would fly me out to Florida any time after April 9th at my convenience. I plan to go to North Dakota first, and after my time in Florida I plan to hook up with a professional pool player who I will not name who offered to take me on the road in the Southern Bayou states. I should have a car by the time I leave Florida.

If what you say about the Olympics is correct, and the pool tournaments we are speaking of were Olympic events, then, dependent upon Rhea's physiological status, that would be correct. Complicated, especially when there are no existing rules.

What's the over under that you abandon this one on the side of the road just like the last one you couldn't afford?

Im buying my next car in cash paid in full, it will be used. I'm not financing anymore new cars, that isn't an option for me anyway.

So what is your endgame in this?

Since you have a few debt collectors chasing you, you will never have the means nor the credit to even rent your own place, set up utilities, etc. Stable employment to fix your wrongs doesn't seem to interest you either.

Do you really think you're going to get rich making $60 dollars a day? Or are you fine with being a hobo for the next 30 years and never having a pot to piss in?

In 30 years she might be the recipient of proceeds from an AZB charity auction thread, featuring signed jerseys from the Van Boening cup.
In a way, it's almost more legendary in the pool world to go out completely broke. Only a few of our legends seem to die comfortable.
Rhea's just skipping the top-tier talent part and going for the endgame described.

It's no fun being Captain Obvious, I gave up on that a long time ago, just sit back and enjoy the tales........

Yep...and basically this picture sums up about what has been done with the massive amounts of advice given in all of the chapters combined.
