MAN! earl had an .829 sessions winning percentage in 84, that is totally unbelievable. isn't that like tiger woods territory? serisously.

Pat Fleming was talking about offering a CD-ROM of them, so you could ask him about it.

I like to have paper copies, but an advantage of the PDF version is that you can do a text search (^F) usually. The OCR was not perfect.
 
I just glanced at he Cesar Morales issue. Amazing that they did stats on 219 matches at one event. Did the players fill out score cards or was someone there for every match scoring?

Good to see stuff like this in digital form. Thanks to Pat, Bob and Mike.

IIRC, at the time Pat was training local people prior to the tournament to fill out an Accu-stats sheet. The players were not asked to fill out sheets, nor could they be expected to during a match. About 1986 (?), Pat started video-taping matches so he and his staff could later score the matches and not have to train and pay people who might do the sheets wrong anyway. Beginning in 1987, he started selling the tapes. See the ad in the last edition in the archive (page 14). I think I saw both systems at tournaments at the Sands in Reno.

In a sense, we have Accu-stats Videos because of a failed experiment.
 
Without looking at any of these mags, I will tell you to check out which player made the fewest errors. I bet it's Mike Sigel every year, by a wide margin too. Like Lassiter before him, the man who misses the fewest balls is usually the winning player.
