AMAZING! I never thought he would win a tournament with that snooker tip (about 10mm) that he plays with. He had to overcome something to win IMO. It's like giving up weight to the world.

i was there , and did some commentary with Jerry and Fran.
Oscar is now playing with a pred.z2 shaft, not the skinny one he was using. i do think that was 8mm, but not sure. his z2 might be at 11mm for his personal preference.:thumbup:

Under the circumstances, Robby did a hell of a job at this tournament, after being more than 5 months in Puerto Rico giving more weight than King Kong. Congrats to Robby and a definite Big Congrats to Oscar Dominguez.!!!

I just got back to Boston. Rob definitely shot well. It was a very tough field at TS. He made it to the final 4 in the winners side.
Deuel and Bonilla was looking dangerous for a while. Bonilla was on the losers side very early, so he played a tremendous amount of matches.
Congrats Oscar, you looked untouchable on Sunday.

You played better and you deserved to win it!
I really like your solid stance and stroke with the longer bridge like many top snooker players. You got the speed of the table very good as well.

I knew he could never win with the toothpick he was using. At least 11mm sounds like a real tip, although it's a thin one as well. When he gets up to 12mm he will win more tournaments. Sounds like he's finally wising up.
