Congrats to Amanda Lampert

Hey Mark - I really have no desire to play on the Pro Tour. I sometimes get invites, and if I can afford to go I will, but I usually can't so.... I have a full time job and I almost never play pool outside of tournaments. Of course, if things were different, and say - I won the lottery or something - heck yes I'd like to compete on the Pro level...but that will almost assuredly not happen so I'll just stick to my full time job and keep on doing what i'm doing..

Thanks,
Amanda

Great work Amanda :bow-down:

Hey Amanda- ever thought about, Hanging with One of the instructor guys, like Scott Lee and taking your game to the next level- The womens Pro Tour - isn't that what its about anyway- being the best you can be! I think you can be much better. doesn't Amanda Lamper World Pro have a ring to it?? mark

She used to play on the Pro Tour already, btw.

For as many titles as she has won, I'm kinda shocked you would say all this.

I mean, I realize a coach at any point in anyone's career would help them improve, but to me, you are implying she isn't good enough now to play on the pro tour yet she already has. And, she has won so many titles! But, I assume you don't that and are just offering advice based on that.

I edited and added the t. (thanks)

I have a gunsmith/cue maker friend named Ron Lampert. He is an inventor and renowned gunsmith,He makes Gun replica's completely from scratch, any make or model. He has been working on cues in the winter. He retired from the military after 20 yrs-Navy. That is kind of how I became aware of Amanda playing ,just seeing her name the last couple yrs. My friend has been ill for sometime now. I always thought it would be cool for her to play with a cue made by someone who shares the same name! Thanks for Amanda's track record -I had no idea !! god bless Mark

Hi Mark - I am real sorry to hear about your friend. He will be in my thoughts. I have the utmost respect for anyone who has served, or is serving, in our military. Is there somewhere that I can see his work? I am quite interested. I do love the cue that I play with, but if I see the butt end of a cue that I like I will definitely try to make arrangements to purchase one and use it from time to time. I know I can't just get half of one, but I really love the shaft on my cue so I'm definitely sticking with that.

Thank you for your suggestions in your earlier post and I wish you well. :)

Peace,
Amanda

P.S. Let me know where I can see your friends work.
