Congrats to Donny, the working man's player for going undefeated in the Seminole tour stop at Capone's in Spring Hill, FL. Nobody has to beat him when he plays like he did in this tournament. Johnnyt

Congrats Donny!

Not to shabby at all..... I know he drew Rodney first round and beat ARcher twice in the tourney.

Thats a feat in itself.

Donny has been shooting reaaaaaaal well.

UHHH what is a P2? I couldn't even build a little wooden box in wood shop. Lol sorry wrong Donny. I've never built any pool sticks or worked for predator.

Thanks Johnny and everyone else!

On a side note- I remember people saying that you can't play good for long periods with no sleep unless you take drugs etc. Well Friday night I got a little over 3 hours of sleep and saturday night I got 4 hours of sleep. Both those days I played from 10am til night time, and I've never taken anything ever. So I guess those opinions are wrong. Although it was hard to focus in the finals plus all the pressure.

Lots of talent and an obvious effort at physical conditioning probably made the difference.

Sometimes I think people can play well on less sleep because a little adrenaline kicks in...for a day or two. After that, only animals like Bartrum can still maintain their regular level of play before it falls apart.

Keep doing your thing Donny...I think you're going to be a part of some Mosconi Cups in the future.

Ok, Ok, we'll buy that. Your statements are reasonable.

But let's hear THE REST OF THE STORY: Just tell us how many freakin hours you spend working out every month.

Oh yeah, there have been a few threads over the years about body building being a detriment to pool playing; that building large biceps in counter-productive to playing good pool. Guess you are putting a lot of urban myths in the street.

By the way, good shooting. The ultimate challenge is to repeat on the Seminole Pro Tour next month in Marietta, GA. With over $20,000.00 in entry fee money and added money and a maximum of 64 players you could make one of the biggest scores on the tour this year. :yeah:

If you repeat a win BACK-TO-BACK in the Scorpion's den, they may be nominating you for the PLAYA OF THE YEAR or PLAYA OF THE DECADE.

Good job buddy, glad to see you won one. Hope all else is going well, my back has not been good, getting a bit worse so no gym yet. I might just go and see how bad it hurts, I just dont want to get on those pills like I was, that scares me as much as the pain. I like roids not opiates. but opiates are physically addictive roids arnt-they are good medicine when used right(which accounts for less than 1% of the users)

Donny needs to learn that flying isn't a bad thing! He would probably do well at a lot of other events, whether in the tourney or in action!! Maybe one day, maybe not. Nice win Donny!!

Donnie would u drive to Vegas to play Mosconi cup if you got in? That day will probably come when you could help the USA.

Thanks Johnny and everyone else!

Donny you are a freak of nature. I'd like to know your average finish in pro/Open events in the last 3 years. I hate to say it, but if the job allows, maybe it's time to give it a whirl and hit a few more events. I know the money doesn't motivate you because you are already getting dough, but you seem competitive and like to test yourself. You probably can't get all the action you want so tournaments might be the next best thing for you.

Good luck going forward and keep doing it. The whole board is behind you(not literally cause that's gay) and we all support you. Donny 'Mosconi Cup' Mills.
