For most American pool fans, Joy Billiards appearance at the BCAPL Nationals in July of 2016 was the first chance to experience Chinese 8-Ball up close and personal. Later in the year, Joy Billiards expanded their exposure in the US with their signing of Shane Van Boening to an exclusive agreement to play Chinese 8-Ball on Joy tables. Johnnyt

That sounds really cool.

Who makes a Chinese 8-ball table other than Joy...Star maybe?

When do you think Diamond or Brunswick will start making Chinese 8-Ball tables?

If Joy or Star start selling a good amount of the tables. If I was Joy I'd give an area good deals on the tables and start a small English 8-ball league there. Johnnyt

Wait a minute. 9 foot ultra tight tables will become popular in the land of the bar box?

Ahhhh in a word....no.

Here in Vancouver we have some but we also have a large Chinese population to support it.

If the Chinese (table companies) were to come HERE and start producing 100k top prize events, I think most of our higher level players would give it a chance.

Will the Chinese game ever appeal to the masses of typical players? Nope.

And thats ok because this is 'merica. :)

That's the normal bar table in Great Britain, been around there for at least the last 40 years or so.

Brunswick has already built and sold 9ft snooker tables in the past, they don't no more.
