Brad,

for sure he makes the coolest tables for sure, i was looking at the Robb Report Christmas guide and there was 4 possibly 5 pool table ads, perhaps the home billiard market is taking off, and Sears will start selling bumper pool games again.

Both tables are very unique....but the table Eric posted is to fancy for me (still stunning)....
If I would be able to choose, I would take one of the good old GC1 @ Marie's Golden Cue form Chicago ;-)

@ Eric, will try to call you tomorrow again

I guess I'm an old curmudgeon...but to my eyes, those tables answer questions that nobody asked.

its good to see that people are becomming interested in pool, obviously these people are not players, but they have $$$ and interest enough to put some fancy box in their house, if just if one of these tables gets into some zillionaires house and he takes a likeing to pool, good things may happen for pool. Its a long shot but its better than not seeing any of these fancy rich guy tables.

Pool has to come back, its a cycle and its bottomed out for how long now???? seems the rich people like these tables. So perhaps their influence will help give pool a shot. Soon as I'm making $$$ again I have a couple plans. the last 18 months have been brutal for me. But in keeping with my word the Fatboy 10 Ball Challenge is a go at the Derby this year.

Last time I was at Blatt Billiards they were making a table for Will Smith. He designed for himself with the help of one of his movie graphics guys.

It was a fantastic design that was very intricate. They charged him $250K to bring it to life.

I saw it in production, and it looked awesome. I'd love to see the finished product.

The coolest table I have ever seen are from the past, not aiming to look like something from the future. One is hard pressed to find tables built like these and with this kind of wood anymore.

http://www.billiardrestoration.com/Antique-Pool-Tables/st-bernard-mission.htm

Either of those in a 9-foot with the 6 leg configuration and the ball return slot and I am happy for life.

Not that I would be spending less then some of the above, but I would trade ANY of the above straight across for a prestine example of one of those two tables in a heartbeat.

i like thesee tables much more than the hi-teck look, ALOT more!!! in the right house they would be amazing to see.

I sort of like the location of the Kling on the polished concrete floor (5th pic from the bottom or so) but the table is a 4 leg variety. Still, the grain you see in the wood of some of those Klings is something you will almost never see in a modern table.

The St Bernard second from the bottom sitting on the Persian rug has unreal grain and the 6 legs with that cathedral style curve. Sick looking table from the 1892-1905 period.
