i was offered a cue that was Corn bread reds
they're asking a bit more money than the cue is worth but being Corn breads
How much more in value would it be ?
I also was told by the owner of it. That this particular one was a gift to cornbread from his wife.
The seller used to play with him in the downriver detroit area. He also has another one " schon" but is keeping it.

it's the meucci cue and i can't find it in the retired cue section
it might be a 1/1 but i'm not sure
not a meucci person
and it might be more to a collector of memorabilia

Jay, I think most folks played heavier cues long ago. I had one in 67 that was 22 ozs. It was a one piece Brunswick and it was stored in a locked cue holder at Nicks Pool Room in Gloucester.

Loved the place and the times back then. The cig smoke was choking and hung in the air like a cloud on busy days.

How fitting is it that these three are standing in front of the Action Room sign at the Derby City Classic in 2003, all of them representing the golden era of American pool. I can almost envision all three of these legends up in heaven, chalking their cues and playing a few games of Captains One Pocket, probably giving each other a little grief between shots.
