I am Praying for you!

I work here at the Veterans Administration so I cannot see any pictures if they have been posted.....Please post pictures if possible so when I go around to different pool rooms I can keep an eye out. I would suggest every pawn shop in a 50 mile radius..I hope you get your cues back my friend!

Bill,

I am just another AZ member that you don't know but I just wanted to say
how sorry I am that this happened to you!

I can't do much to help you being up here this far North as I don't believe the cues will make their way up here but I along with many others can search ebay on a constant basis looking for your cues. As already stated just compile a list of what we are looking for.

My prayers go out to you and your family.

God bless.

Paul

I'll keep my out in south central Michigan. As close as you are there is a good chance of some coming through.

The US Open is just a week away so it would be a good idea for pictures of some if not all of the cues.
Will keep an open eye for them seeing as how I know some of Paul's cues.

Your friend - Myron

Great point. I could certainly see a guy trying to blow cues out around that area. TAR will be at Q - Masters for the whole week. Bill if you have the info ready by then get it to me and we will post flyers and let people know about it on air during the broadcast.

Custom cues do not come with serial numbers, Do you have a bill of sale for all cues? Photos & decriptions? How do you prove in a court of law that a specific cue is yours? A slick lawyer may get "person's of interst" off on that alone. Cues held in evidence for a court trial could easily take a year plus to get back!
Someone ( a collector?) may have paid for their being stolen, like a art theft, just thinking about the ramifications..... The thief may claim a person came into a bar or pool hall and sold all the cues to him for a few hundred bucks.... he may claim he then re-sold them to a stranger for a couple hundred bucks profit..... who knows?
I had a guitar collection stolen at one time and couldn't prove ownership beyond a legal doubt, and guitar's have serial numbers! I did not have bill's of sale describing intruments including the serial numbers. In today's money they would be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars...... Finger prints? a theif could claim he has visited your place of buisness and authorities will find prints all over you shop?
Good Luck, I hope you overcome all the legal ramifications and get back what is rightfully yours.....
In the same condition as it was in! Does it look like a smash and grab job or a crefully planned theft?

Damn that is horrible. My house was broken into recently, we didn't lose anything nearly that valuable, but I know how you feel a little. Once you get the list together you should also keep an eye out on the local classifieds. Each AZ member could check their local craigs list and newspaper classifieds. I know it is isn't likely to see high dollar cues on these types of listings, but if we shut down every other source of sale they might get desperate. We need to shut down every avenue. You are in my thoughts.

They Got Everything That I Did Not Have In 1x2s All The Other Cues And They Walked Right By The Richard Black Sunburst, And Ivory Handle Schick. And A 20,000 Gina And Took The Dealer Cases

Thieves must have been an Amateurs not to notice which cue has more money to it. If you can post the pics I'll keep an eye on here to Wash, DC.-MD and VA

Again, I wish you all the best and luck finding all your cues!

Bill these cues might get down my way , and trust if they do, i will do more than get your cues back! you will be in my prayers daily and if i can do anything you have my number....take care, I no God will bring you through this, i am glad that your family is safe, i will put the word out in indy today.

Sorry to hear it. I check the local pawn shops here regularly and I'll keep an eye out but I'm a long way from Michigan.

This is really awful. It is sad day when things like this occur. I agree that this is someone who knew what was there.

I would invest in some gun safes to hold my cues. This will give you fire protection, as well as theft protection.

I posted in the other thread that we should all post "buying pool cues" ads on craigslist. If the guy does not have a buyer lined up already, he will be looking for one. Let's make it one of us so he can be caught. Here is what I posted in Cincinnati/Ohio craisglist:

"I buy pool cues!! I am currently looking for higher-end, custom cues ($1,000 and up). I pay top dollar! Turn your cues into cash in this tough economy!"

Hopefully this guy will see one of the posts and contact one of us, at which point we contact cornerstone and the police.

Bill I am so sorry for your loses. I am in northern indiana. I will make a run through our local pawn shops tomorrow and a few times next week. I have a good friend on Kokomo Police Department. He and a lot of other officers play around here so maybe something will come up.

Again sorry Bill, you and your family are in my prayers.
