cornerstone custom robbed!

Sorry To Hear, And I Hope You Get Em......

Just Promise, That You Will Prosecute To The Fullest Extent Of The Law.

I Know Your A Religious Man, But People Need To Learn A Lesson.

I Know This Is A Horrible Time To Ask, But, I'm Also Curious Why Insurance Won't Cover The Cues?

I have added the following to the first page on my website and encourage others to do the same if they can.

"NOTICE - 10/10/08 - Cornerstone Custom Cues was robbed of around $400,000 worth of high end cues.
Their website is - www.cornerstonecustomcues.com and a list of the cues will be available shortly. I am offering a $1000 reward leading to the recovery of the cues and (hopefully) arrest and conviction of the people who carried out this robbery. Please be concerned when purchasing cues from people unknown to you."

cues..

Im not passing stereotypes here I'm just being realistic:

I would keep your eyes posted on the international eBay websites because whoever stole the cues knew what they were looking for. Also - whoever knows the cue market knows that they can't sell these anymore in the US market.

I would keep your searches on eBay for "worldwide" because you never know.

Good luck man.. sorry to hear this happend..

I have full coverage on my cues, while I hate it that it happened but also wonder why there wasnt insurance.....

With the economy and everything else, I am concerned that this trend will continue.

I wish you the best my friend,

Ken

The one thing I know is if we can just find one of these cues we will find them all and the thieves.

he already explained why they werent insured. he was in the process of getting an appraisal in order to switch to another company to insure it but this unfortunate event happened before he was able to insure it.

Done - Link changed - will make a page with all the listed cues later today.

BRING THE CUES BACK!!!!!

I wish you a very speedy recovery of your items. You have many friends on here who are looking out for you. Good luck to you and your family for the return of your belongings. My prayers are with you and your family.

I called a friend of mine at the cue show in Kansas and informed him of your loss Bill. He is passing the word around to the people in attendance. Cues of this quality can't stay hidden for long.

EVERYONE PLEASE NETWORK IN YOUR AREA!!! These scumbags are bound to brag to somebody. Check your friend of a friend, etc. The custom cue community is too large, we are an imposing net to escape! BE WARNED THIEVES IF YOU ARE READING THIS - YOU WILL BE CAUGHT AND DEALT WITH, AND IF YOU'RE LUCKY CHARGES ARE ALL THAT WILL BE PRESSED!

here are just a few http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/ae.html -every thing on this page except the 7900.00 onehttp://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/bender.html http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/lrgcues/003ag.html - the cue not the case http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/lrgcues/003x.html -all the mcworters except the 4900.00 one http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/mcworter.html http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/lrgcues/012l.html - http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/lrgcues/014c.html - http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/lrgcues/026n.html - and everything ecxcept the 2 ivory handles the barnhart the pfd 19,000 and the oliver http://www.cornerstonecustomcues.com/cues/other.html and that is a start it was a total of 90 cues from 1000-10,000 each about 400,000 in cues i will upload more soon, thank you for the overwhelming response and prayer. iam devestated!
One small thing I noticed in this post....

Unless mentioned, I hope not, they stole all these cues from this good man EXCEPT for the Taj Majal of cues:
The $89,000 Ginacue or The $21,000 Gus Szamboti.

This I am afraid, is an inside job...someone who has been there before, scoped the place out, and knew where the cues were.

I think they left those 2 cues or a few more because whoever tried to sell them, would be questioned to eternity about the chance of owning them and why in the hell they would sell them.

Good luck in this massive devistation of sick twisted losers in the world.

Gods speed to ya man.

I hope your thief is some drug addict who has no idea how hard it will be to turn those cues into cash.

Bill,

In your area I would think that this is a major crime.

I've already heard of possible suspects.

Surveillance of individuals at this time would be the way to go.

Hope it's happening.

Who's working on this.............local or Sheriffs ???

Make sure that you call who's ever handling this case at least every other day. Keeps them on their toe's.

I think your going to end up with most if not all of your stuff back and probably pretty soon.

JMO

Again anything I can do, just call.

In your professional opinion, which i hold in high regard, is it best to flood the net ( possibly driving the cues underground) with images/publicity or would it make sense to send images to potential "dealers" on the down low with the intent of catching the perps when they try to convert their score into cash?

Thanks for your input and i also have a good feeling about a positive resolution.

I don't have a professional opinion but I think it probably would have been best to keep it quiet and only inform certain people in certain areas to effect a sting operation of some sort.

However since it's out there now I think that the best thing to do is to make it impossible to move these cues and hope that the people who took them will find a way to return them without exposing themselves. Personally, I'd like to see them prosecuted but not at the expense of Bill's livelihood.

I don't think that the people who did this will just put the cues away somewhere. This won't die and people will be vigilant all over the net. I don't think that this is something that the thieves counted on. The pool world is really small and you don't just start showing up at pool rooms hawking high end cues without raising suspicion.

So, my vote is to flood the net, flood the poolrooms, and offer rewards leading to the return of the cues. Somebody somewhere will need that reward money and be willing to make a phone call.

I hope.

Sorry to hear about this Bill. I would definitely keep in close contact with your overseas connections as well. Very unlikely that the thieves would be able to move the cues within the states. Hope they've got some leads and you catch up to your cues soon. If there is anything we can do for you out here in California just let us know.
