I just got knocked out of the ten ball event in jax but my buddy tony crosby beat orcullo on the winners side, i guess tony has the philipinos number, considering he's beat efren 2x in a row

Also I was speaking to tony about all the controversy here about amateur tourneys and the differing views.

for his tour he has come with a good solution
and thats to let the better amateur players give the weaker players 2 games on the wire thus allowing some of the better players that are in no man's land between amateur and open status.

I believe its a 9-7 race or 7-5 race,, whichever its gonna be great and if anyone knows Tony, then they know it will be top notch, with all the money accounted for and the payout posted right after the draw

good idea...

thats grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!! go tony, its your birthday, we gonna party like its your birthday

Congratulations Tony. I'm imagining it to have been one heck of a match to go hill-hill.

Congratulations Tonyc!!!

As hard as Tony works on his game (technically - mentally - physically) I am not surprised to hear of him winning matches against anybody. He is great player, a good person, and he does a lot for the game on and off the table. IMO, Tony is on course to break through and win one of the majors. It's just a matter of time.

I agree with everything that has been said on here about Tony. Class act all round, we all know he has the talent to beat any of the top pros at any time I think he has had some bad luck and or his opponents have has some good luck in SOME cases. I believe that once Tony takes a major down he will take a bunch down very quickly thereafter. Good Luck to Tony.

Tony Crosby is a great guy and a helluva player! He came over here from England several years ago and "learned" how to play 9-Ball. He was a snooker player before. His game has steadily improved over the years and he is now in the top echelon of pool players.

What he didn't have to learn was how to be a CLASS ACT! Tony is an example for everyone on how to carry yourself and act in public, and with your fans. He never fails to have a smile on his face and a pleasant word for everyone he encounters. He is a good sportsman as well, and is quick to acknowledge the skills of his opponent, win or lose.

I wish him success in everything he does in life and I'm sure he will continue to be successful. We are fortunate to have him as part of the American pool scene.

I will double the class act---way to go tony!:clapping: :clapping:

And I Hope I Live To See It

I first met Tony when he was an outgoing friendly snipe and now he's become a deadly SNIPER.
Good for you Mr. Crosby.
