I also think that could be Vickery far left in the shadows barely visible when you enlarge the picture

It looks like the other posters have nailed the players. But, that guy really does like the microphone.

From left to right:
Alex Pagulayan
Mike Deshaine
Hunter Lombardo
Jesse Engel is right in the middle in the back.
The one with the hat on is definitely Landon Shuffet.
Right next to the guy with the hat is Lou Figueroa and Joey A - yucking it up like always.

The guy with the mic is Mean Gene Okerlund.

That was easy.
 
I just want to make sure credit is given where it is due, Holly is the one who posted this so she deserves credit for this, even if Mark did come up with the contest I would think Holly deserves some gratitude also doesn't she?

This has turned out to be so much fun...I love the responses and banter.
Anyone want to share a good story about a great and positive tournament experience with any of the gentlemen in the photo?

that is the former set of The Price is Right (circa 1979)...of course, Bob Barker must have been sick since Bob Eubanks has the mic, looks like Rob "Meathead" Reiner for some reason is handing out cash to Grizzly Adams, and the young Mexicano fellow??? not sure...maybe Eric Estrada before he hit the gym, shaved, and put on a California Highway Patrol uniform?

I may be WAY off, btw.

CSI contest

There have been a couple of really thorough answers - but I am not sure which ones are right.

I thought it would be one of the Reno events. Time frame is around December 1985.

Who is the tall guy giving money to Jay Swanson?
I spotted the obvious ones (Efren, Morro, Swanee, Fleming, Geiler).

Keep responding or telling stories - every response gets your name into the drawing for a free entry to either US Bar Table event or the Swanee.

The dates are in February.
