Video Price

Mantis99,

What's the price of the video? It's something I too would like to order.

I'm scheduled to meet with Randy G tomorrow for his SAME AIM lesson and am hoping for positive results with that too.

Thanks,

Muziq

Can't wait to get my already ordered copy of the video. Thanks for the summary on the lesson.

My wife sent me to Stan this past Jan. as a fiftieth birthday present. What a great present, one that I will always remember.

50? You're that old???? Maybe an AARP card would be more beneficial - or, maybe one of those scooters from The Scooter Store? j/k see ya next wed!

It's $39 + $6 shipping for a total of $45. You can get it on his web site on the lessons page.

I have a couple questions that I did not see covered in the write up. I fear this will be taken the wrong way...I am sorry if it is, but I like to be an informed buyer.

1 - Does the DVD show how to make shots in all pockets?
2 - Does the DVD show how to make shots to specific points on the table other than the pockets
3 - Is the DVD going to cover the entire Pro-1 method...or are things left out that are only available by flying to KY and getting the 5 hour lesson?

Hopefully I can get some honest answers...depending on those answers determines if I will by the DVD or not.

I checked the "justcueit" web site and did not see anything that answers the questions above.

Ken,
Your questions only sounds half-way sincere, unfortunately but I will try to answer anyway. Based upon your previous posts (in other threads) , I doubt very seriously if you genuinely have any interest in the video but I'll try to answer your questions as "honestly" as I can.

Just remember that I had a rather lengthy day with Stan and the video was just the icing on the cake. Before I go any further, I should tell you that I don't give a flying F**K if you buy the video and neither does Stan but I don't want to speak for him. This is just me talking.

CTE/Pro ONe allows you to make a ball in any pocket.

CTE/Pro One does not prevent you from making adjustments, playing safe or anything else.

The video covers EVERYTHING that is given in the one on one lesson from Stan. Some people, like myself will benefit from the one on one lessons from Stan. Stan is able to address the concerns if you have any and help you understand the precise aiming system.

I've been using it for a few days now and while I haven't been severely tested, my practice and friendly competition tells me that it is still working. I have yet to use contact point to contact point aiming or ghostball.

I don't want anyone to think that this is going to make them a great player because it won't.

What it will do is to give you another method of aiming that you have NEVER had and if you make a GENUINE effort to learn it, your game WILL improve. At least so far that is exactly what I believe. I actually have a greater confidence in the shooting of shots.

Pro One is actually a NATURAL transition from CTE and if you didn't know I was using it, you wouldn't normally see it unless you see me checking myself by doing manual pivots and such.

Personally, from the negative posts that you have provided in other threads, I HOPE YOU WILL NOT PURCHASE THE VIDEO. (Sorry Stan)

I believe a person can learn how to utilize CTE/Pro One directly from the video. The one on one coaching by Stan helped me to learn and BELIEVE that what he was saying he was doing was EXACTLY what he was doing.

The video with Stevie Moore and Landon Shuffett using CTE/Pro One speaks volumes for its validity and usefullness.

Listen, this CTE/Pro One isn't some crazy subconscious aiming system. It's real. It's finite and it's accurate (precise).

If I find out that it has hurt my game , I will let all of AZ B know about it. So far, I am spanking the competition. Knowing full well that there is more to playing well than an aiming system.. Right now I am riding a confidence level that I haven't had in a very long time.

I know that your post wasn't meant to be anything more than another negative post but my hope is that you won't buy the video and that is sincere.

The truth is that whatever aiming system you use, if you are making the balls, we all wind up at the same point.

That is nice Joey...real nice....I have never said anything negative about CTE.

Your judgment about me is off by a mile or so.... I was 100% sincere about my questions...I have been all along...don't lump me into a basher group just because I chose to ask some pointed questions in a thread about that subject....I thought that was what this board was for...I have recently discovered it is not....

No one would answer my questions publicly or privatly becuase it "gave away the secrets"...I have accepted that...I just wanted to simply ask if those questions (that were the exact same questions I have been asking over and over) were going to be covered in the DVD.

I am not rich Joey...I am sorry...I can't afford to fly to KY and pay for a place to stay, and pay for lessons that are listed for CTE at what appears to be $245 from Stan...Would I like to??? absolutly!! getting a lesson from a top instructor can't be anything but beneficial......If you are able to afford that...good for you....If you got the lessons for free...good for you.

I pay for what I can afford and look for other avenues of improvement within my financial means....I came on this board and willingly would share whatever little theory of pool that I know in hopes that others would do the same....

I guess it does not work that way in your world....There was a term that was taught to me when I was growing up...(I am farily certain that you have heard of this term)..."share and share alike"

Some have posted replys insinuating that makes me a freeloader....even though I don't ask for anything for free......well I am bitter now...Thanks to you and a couple others...I am done "sharing"

I have never bashed any aiming method...I have even posted that I use a modifed 3-line system learned from Hal himself and use a form of CTE on thin cuts..(again learned from Hal himself)....How can I be considered a basher or negative poster of CTE...because I asked a pointed question or two that have thus far gone unanswered?????

Publicly Joey...I am very sorry I hurt your feelings with my "parody"....I was NOT the one who sent that CTE is silly thead on a religious tangent....I was only trying to make light of a thread that had gone haywire...I won't apologize for the humor...but I am sorry it hurt your feelings....but just because I make a stupid joke...does not mean I am a CTE basher..or any other method basher for that matter.

I actually defended CTE in a recent thread that looks to have been removed that was on pace to bash CTE...I mentioned in that post that all methods seem to overlap each other..just learning them..(even ifyou don't use them) can be a benefit and/or help to develope your own personal super mongo aiming system that you use.....even if that method only works for you and no one else.

If you want to continue with calling me negative...fine..so be it...I am pretty much fed up and done with sharing any pool theory anyway..you have made me bitter.....I will limit myself to just referrals to instructors, books, videos etc...and stupid humor...If someone asks an aiming question...pay for a lesson from so and so...If they want to know how to bank...buy the video from so and so...if they want to know how to judge a carome...buy so and so's book(that is probably what they all want anyway)......except for the humor:wink:

The good news is....I just had the RKC himself in my man cave recently and Zach, Gordon, and Glen fixed up my GCII to perfection...and I mean perfection.

Oh...and yes...I paid for it:)

Hi Mantis,

Where exactly did you see this price on justcueit.com site?
I searched the lessons link and it does not show any DVD price...

Thx!

Joey A, I thought your post on Cte/PRO One was great..Stan i salute you for all your work and efforts and the years you put into the system..I must admit without taking anything away from the Cte/Pro One System that we are very much alike...My 90/90 also doesn't make you look at the OB and a few other things...

So again i congratulate you for your hard work to make learning how to pocket ball easier for people who having a hard time with it ...

After all the most important basic in pool is just that 'pocketing the balls...

All The best of luck

Fair enough, Ken. I'm sorry if I was rude to you for no valid reasons. It is sometimes difficult to determine what motives people have for asking the questions that they do.

This is what I suggest. Since the video I saw is a first draft video, I recommend that you wait until the final video is completed which shouldn't be that far away. If money is a little tight right now, let a few others purchase the final CTE/Pro One video and ask those same questions all over again.

I envy anyone who has their own personal man cave and mint conditioned GCII.

I am actually very curious about what I have learned about CTE/Pro One. I have always been a person who is excited about learning anything new, especially when it comes to playing pool. I've learned many things in my life that have helped my pool game improve and I am developing some additional theories about why I think my game is improving with CTE/Pro One but I will reserve those theories until I have been tested in the fire and more than once, I might add.

Regardless, I am enjoying playing with CTE/Pro One more each day. As I get more comfortable with it, it doesn't feel as alien as it did on the first day and I feel like it is a natural way to aim and shoot. It's just not something I have done for the many years I have been playing pool but it's all good and you and I are all good.

Best Regards,
JoeyA

C'mon man

GMT.I've been recovering from some surgery and have been reading the forums to pass the time, and would like to make you an offer. Buy the DVD, try it. If you don't think the info is helpful, and worth the $45.00, I (Mike Berezny) will refund your money! Not Stan, ME. You have been asking for more info, and explanations to your questions. I honestly hope this DVD answers all your questions. I just want you give it a genuine effort. I will not get into any back and forths here on AZ, but I will buy your copy (if you don't like it) and give it to someone that runs a Junior APA here in Charleston. So you have nothing to lose, and only more knowledge to gain.

Thanks... Mike

Great Post Mr.JoeyA thank you very much. And yes Stan is a great person who I have the highest respect for, Landon as well. They are HUGE assetts to pool and top teir people, I cant say enough good about them. I'm proud to know them. And next year I plan to take lessions from Stan, I have another thing i'm doing first-its a brain wave exercise. I had a friend take a course in it 2 times for other reasons but it applies to sports as well. I'm going to address that issue, hopefully I find some success with than then I will get even better results from lessions from Stan. Thats my 2011 plans, my 2010 plans didnt work out so good. I'm not playing any better now than I was in 09:(. Thanks for the big post again, thats really good stuff and helped me alot.

Thanks for the offer, Mike; but it's not necessary. I plan to buy the DVD to review (in my own sweet time). It's not something that I would ask a refund for under any circumstances--from anyone...well, if I get a BLANK DVD I'm sure gonna ask for a replacement :)

I'm just a "no return" kinda guy. I don't think I ever returned anything in my life!

When I get it I plan to watch it MANY TIMES, and give a fair and honest review, with as much detail as possible. I'll be especially HAPPY to report if I can find anything in it of substance that seems useful--but in any case I WILL describe exactly what's in it, so other buyers can reliably make up their minds from my review whether it contains anything of interest to them.

You do realize you sound like "THE ONE AND ONLY". Glad the pool world has you. Where can I buy tickets to your next speaking engagement?

A friend and I had lessons with Randy G and I will say, competent instructions can not be beat. Changing habits is tough and I have my work cut out but it shouldn't be too hard.
As far as CTE based aiming systems, they work period but you will need to get lessons from an instructor who has put the time into the system to teach it properly and only then will you start to understand. I need to work on a few fundamentals for a while before I dive into CTE / Same aim, can't wait.
Thanks Randy & Red

Fair enough. That's all anyone could ask. I hope it helps to answer most of your questions, and you find it helpful to your game. Thanks... Mike

I'm only left to wonder that if you're already playing "MUCH better," and you don't even "have it down pat yet," why you could ever question whether you need to wait "until I am positive that it helps me play better," or why you would ever consider "go(ing) back to the other aiming methods."

Because sometimes "new and different" often is misinterpreted as better. When ever you incorporate something new into your game (a technique, a new cue, etc.), you tend to pay *extra* attention to the new factor. This dos two things: first, it steers your attention *away* from other things like nervousness, anxiety, etc. Second, the increased attention is often the source of the improvement, not the change. This is why you can net improvement (short term) but simply focusing your attention on something you normally don't. For example, the sound of your tip hitting the ball, exactly which part of your index finger is touching the cue, etc. Try it out some time. Come up with something fairly random, but that has some connection to your pool game. You really have to dump all your attention into this thing. It can have remarkable effects. It is a great tool to use when you feel that the wheels are falling off, or you just have that "bad" feeling we all must sometimes feel while playing.
