That depends on whether you are talking price paid or estimated value.
Back in the early 70's, a buddy came to me, begging me to buy a cue because he could get a great deal on two of them. I finally caved, just to help him out, so I gave him $125. Hey, that was a TON of money for a cue back then. Some time later, he handed me my cue...my name under a clear plastic ring.
You guessed it...a Palmer model M from the 2nd catalog.
I still have it, along with the case & both shafts. After buying it, got married, had a biz to run, a kid to raise, quit playing. It remained in the closet.
In the 90's, Cindy & I thought we'd like to play again. Took our old cues out of the closet, went to a pool hall. Didn't take me long to figure out what I had...:grin:
We bought other cues to play with. I guess that's our "collection".
