Cue Wanted

Hello all...
My name is Vince Sangmeister and a few of you might know me. I was with Black Boar and Tony for about 10 years from it's inception many moons ago. I've been off the pool world's radar for quite some time and only recently began to even have an interest in playing again due to some friends who coerced me into it. I'm genuinely surprised I still have a stroke and can occasionally string a few racks of nine-ball together. Anyhow, I no longer own a cue so I'm looking to buy something super inexpensively. I just started a new job, new apartment, new career and have VERY little to spend. I won't be able to buy anything until payday on the 18th. I'm looking for something like a 58" Sneaky Pete, 19-3/4 oz. with a decent shaft (12-3/4mm) and an ivory ferrule, medium to soft tip. No frills....Just something to poke some balls around now and again with friends. I have no intention of competing any more either. Literally...just want to have a bit of pool entertainment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much folks....
Vince.

Pick up a Players with an HXT shaft. They come standard with a Kamui Black 12.75mm tip for around $110.00 shipped and brand new.

Pm sent, I'll hook you up with a cue and you can pay when you can

^^^^^^^^ Very cool gesture.^^^^^^^^^ Really nice of you to help out,and "pay it forward" green rep sent :clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::thumbup2::clapping:

Stake Horse that is awesome........!!! Glad to see there are still nice people out there looking out for others and not just themselves .........!!!

I couldn't agree more. He and I have been chatting and he offered me much more than I need so we're negotiating downward...lol. Thanks much guys........
Vince.

Glad to see someone is helping you out:thumbup:

Thefonz <== astounded that after 10 years with black boar you didn't receive a cue commemorating your departure.

Well.....Tony and I didn't part ways in an overly appreciative way. I did have a gorgeous cue that T. Jr. and I designed and built but I became disgruntled with everything pool related and sold it several years after my departure to a guy I knew at Billy Steven's room in Norfolk. Just before that Tony and I buried the hatchet and we're friends again and I got a plain Jane from him after I moved up north here to Philadelphia. Not being able to really reinvigorate my live of the game and falling on hard times I sold it and haven't played since. That was probably ten years ago or more. Now I don't feel as though I should ask Tony for one. Ya know?

exactly what we need

Tap tap to stakehorse. My hat is off to you my friend. To the gentleman who used to work for black boar. Since he is providing you with the new stick. I feel it my duty to give you a case. Its a 2x4. Its George. 30 years old. In mint condition. PM me your address. And it's all yours.

To Stakehorse and Seaglass:

It is when two gentlemen like yourselves step up to the plate to help another member like this that the true nature of the AZB "family" comes out.

Kudos to both of you!!
Joe

Wow! Really nice, guys. Vince, I'm in Philly as well so maybe well run into each other somewhere. Either Drexeline or Fuscos mostly. Word is you used to be a sporty 9-ball player. Like a young buddy hall.

Hey Vince, You ought to be sending your contact info in a pm to those that need it. You can edit out your address in post # 15 so the wrong people do not get it. Just saying it's better to be on the safe side in the world these days that's all.. Good Luck, Good Health 2 U!

no worries

Not a problem my friend welcome back to the game. I have your address and will attempt to get it out today. If you see Pete tascerlla in your neck of the woods. tell him I said hello. here are a few pictures of your new case. No reimbursement needed. Very simply helping out a fellow pool player. I personally think it is important to learn something new everyday. Therefore I wish to share to you the following. YouTube. Og Mandino. Praying hands. It is truly one of the finest stories in history. Enjoy the case and good luck my friend.

That's awesome stuff, man. I'll take a look at the YouTube link when I get home and have time to actually watch it. Thanks very much again for your generosity.
