Those are smokin'! I wonder if the owner would take my wife as a trade in????
For those who may not know, Jerry is one of the very few cue makers who has built a one piece full splice cue.
It's not easy without special equipment. Brunswick had large sanding machines and jigs especially for this purpose - a lathe with 36" centers is ill suited for this. Cutting the pieces by hand, fitting them properly, and executing to the exactness Jerry has reached is truly an amazing accomplishment. He recently built a one piece ebony Titlist but using modern cue geometry.
I truly respect what Jerry has done. Believe me, it's a personal challenge and a labor of love to recreate something not seen in almost 100 years. This is something I think all cue craftsman can appreciate.

Jerry is way underrated, all these years of building cues and the great work he has done. It might be different if some of the cue maker hype men and cue dealers got behind him pushing his stuff. It amazes me that one cue maker can be building cues less than 5 years and he is the talk of the town and another has been doing it for 30 producing just as good if not better work and does not get his due. 
Quite simply, amazing butterfly and inlay work! Spectacular cues!

Jerry definately has some unique cue building skills. It takes many years to learn all this man knows. His execution is as good as anyone, his cues hit so good and he is a downright pleasure to work with . I dont know the criteria for hof, but this man has paid his dues and it shows in his work. Yeah I think hes good.

Double spliced butterlfy cue........ just take a moment to imagine the process. I doubt many cue makers would even consider this type of art work.
I'll be recieving my -R- cue I customed ordered this month, although it isn't has elaborate as any of these but never the less I'm sooo looking forward to it!

In all seriousness, I worked in Warren, PA for a couple years and never gave a thought to ordering a cue while I was there. I was away from the game at that time. I think the way I timed that absolutely sucks!

I'm glad you posted this. I thought I noticed something missing, but it didn't register. I thought nothing more about it and moved on. It would be so cool to just hit one ball with that cue.
Further; I've noticed the return points on his full splice cues are about the thickness of a single veneer. I don't like those completely sharp return points. I think Mr. R's proportions are beautiful. This means he must be matching them up at the end such that the last veneer on each side is half a veneer thickness at that point. I don't know if that's harder than sharp return points, but it can't be easy to come out perfect like that, and I just think the proportions of the thickness at the back end like that looks aesthetically freaking perfect.
And those butterflies are clean. No chattery noise or jaggy edges, awesome.
Also, I like the color combination of the middle cue, which is saying a lot because I don't usually like green veneers.
Any more pics; close ups of the points/veneers, purty please.

I have seen close ups and my recollection is they are razor sharp because he miters them too. Sometimes with flash photography you lose the details.
Here's a spy photo of a one piece ebony cue in Titlist colors - it shows the points better because there's no finish....

I realize he miters them, but *I think* where the points end determines how sharp they are. I believe that I've seen photos of Mr. R's cues with the return points as I described earlier. Now my saying that I don't like sharp return points is simply a matter of preference.
The real point, not to be lost here, is that his full splice veneered cues are just frikken awesome.

Those are awesome cues. Jerry definately does not get the credit he deserves. He is absolutely great to deal with and his cues are works of art. I had him make one for me and I love it !! He nailed my specs on the cue, weight, balance point, everything is perfect.
His first FS 8 pointer......
