Chaz and dirtypool, I have sent chaz a request for my refund through paypal this afternoon. I tried to call today with no answer, and taxted you and again no reply. I dont know what the problems with production are, but I am tired of waiting. If I were these other people I would have already asked for my money back. I thought I was getting a great deal, but I guess not. I know you have my information for email and phone number so there is no excuse for you nkot contacting me. I no longer want the case, I want my money.

:angry:Talked to chaz tonight and he said he would give me a refund. Said he would get with dirtypool and get this taken care of. I have yet to see the money appear yet although it has only been a few hours, but paypal is fast.:mad:
 
Well I had hoped to receive my case from Chaz on Friday.....he never made it, and never returned my call / texts all weekend.

So, I guess I will just wait.........I am planning a trip to Orlando on Sunday the 28th....so I will pick it up if he makes me wait that long......
Felix, if you or Bench get your cases let me/us know.

I traded him my ob1 shaft that I don't shoot with anymore. I want my case. How can he only have delivered one case? Even if he's working on X number of cases simultaneously, he should be done by now... exactly how many orders does he have?? I've been reading back and he's just reporting on buying new leathers and doing new things, but never any pics of partially completed cases :(
 
Chaz had some rough fits and starts, and frankly spent good money after bad, chasing a dye system, problems with an older sewing machine and other blind alleys.

We seem to have everything figured out now, and the cases should start flowing better.

Feltmaster is done, and Chaz is either shipping or delivering tomorrow.

Fast-n-loose should be done tomorrow and ship Thursday, Friday latest.

Bencho, I know your case is simple, and we're embarrassed it's taking so long, it's a product of the dye problem. Chaz tells me he if things go smoothly with the other two, with a little luck he may have yours to ship Friday as well.

johnnyg0168, I'm sorry it's come to this, but I understand. I would still like the chance to build you a case, I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk.

Brain71 asked for and received a full refund, although I have been unable to reach him since I paypaled the money to him over two weeks ago.

I know this has been trying to say the least and I appreciate everyone's patience. We look forward to changing your minds, and improving the tone of this thread, as cases are delivered and customer satifaction is revived.

I ordered a case from Chaz two months ago.
I dont have a problem waiting on a quality case.
I do realize that someone starting out in a new venture needs a little extra time to work out the bugs.
I just want to say I have talked to Chaz on the phone and he seems like a nice guy and Im sure there wont be any problems.
I would like to stress to the members, as I went through the same problems when I started making cues, please be patient.
Just wanted to inject a little positive attitude to this thread.

I know both of these guys, dirtypool40 and Chaz, they both are good people. I think it is the newness of building a case that is issue. He just did not know what roadblocks to expect. Hopefully the issues will be disolved. Once Chaz has learned the ropes to building a cue case, the flow will go better. Chaz, I am coming to Orlando this weekend, maybe I can order one of the cases that was canceled. Good luck resolving all the issues. Tom

to be honest, as a new case maker myself, i have run into HUGE roadblocks.... and know how it feels to be way behind, im just lucky i didnt take many orders and have great patient customers. its crazy but leather is tricky at times... it almost never comes out the same... im sure even Jack Justis had this problem when he first started...
 
Guys...I am nobody here....but trust me....people understand things happen and sometimes you cant deliver on time..As long as you guys communicate to the customers, I think most will understand and be willing to wait. Communication is the key to a successful business....I wish you guys well though, I do hope you get your ducks in a row and start making some nice cases.....Best of Luck!

As a paying customer how long should a person wait before canceling an order? Yes, patience is important as these are hand made and not in stock cases, but how much should this be stretched before it is deemed "bad customer service"? Curious on input here. From the pictures I have seen, they look like very nice custom made cases. Not all of us can wait months to a year for something to be made, especially when we are quoted a time frame whatever it may be. Sure sh*t happens, but when you run a business and want to get new customers and even repeat customers, your first set of orders are huge for getting things going. I have a cue on order that was told 2-3 months. After about 4-5 delays we are at 6 months now. I am close to canceling this order, as I do not have multiple cues to use while waiting for this one to be made. Just a nuetral party here curious on input. They seem like very nice cases for a phenominal price.
