hello i just returned from dcc to england yesterday..

enjoyed the dcc but the last day i run out of gas unfortunatley but overall enjoyed the trip..

glad to be home and get myself together i go euro tour 11th feb thru to 15th in france

i will return to usa around 16th feb and stay around 5-6weeks!!

i am hoping i can play in turning stone ..i will be in reno for us bar table championships and maybe a tournament in las vegas and will play valley forge,but between all this ill probably spend time in florida and pheonix and maybe new york and other places probably..

also ill be looking for money games i can travel just about anywhere if the game is right if anyone interested let me know

looking to play one pocket,straight pool,10ball,8ball,9ball..

Btw: there is one thing the Americans do better than you though. We both know that they really can't play pool, but they do speak better English... :) Why are you northern brits so damn hard to understand... I though you guys invented the language... :p

not sure about weight to steve moore depends if he wanted to play or myself as we good friends!

I was in between Stevie Moore and Niels Feijen standing at the TAR-booth, and Stevie had lots of funny comments.

They were trying to negotiate a game of 10-ball, and Stevie asked Niels: "What do I get?", while Niels quickly replied while laughing:

"I'll give you a hamburger"

Stevie looked at him, smiling, saying "mmmm, with cheese?" :)

Then Niels told him that he couldn't give up much, since Stevie had won some tournaments lately. Stevie's comment was just as classic as it was quick, when saying "yeah, but you weren't there".

It was the first time I saw Stevie Moore, but I liked his attitude and behaviour, and hopefully he and Niels will give it a shot at TAR in the future.


Back to the topic of the thread:

Darren, can't you come up with a list of players that you would like to play, and what kind of games you prefer, and what the needed weight should be, if any?

Darren - I can understand if you don't want to answer, but do you have a job outside of pool? How can you, as a professional pool player, afford trips several times a year across the ocean, to play in tournaments that you have to win in order to make a decent living? Do you have sponsors, stakehorses, or a trust fund?

yeah i hope to come back thailand in near future ..i hope to spend more time in philippines too.. asia great place too

yeah i know bartram will play with the 8ball...
maybe steve i would give little something at 10ball..

i think there some good 8ball games out there on bar table and big table...
people like gabe owen,kirkwood,joyner but he wants too much weight imo..bartram plays good on bar table..

big table virtually any american at 10ball 9ball and 8ball ... but there a few i prefer to stay away from until i fully develope my game ..

one pocket obviously i dont play much one pocket so against top players i need weight and good players like sylvia,ritcheson, and players a like i need something.

i really dont know my level at one pocket to be honest but am willing to try if get a game i think is fair!
 
Well, I'll be at the Expo in valley forge every day! and as a red blooded American, and since I grew up near Valley Forge and it has .....uhh...just a little bit of history between our 2 countries...I'll raise the flag of diplomacy and play you some cheap.......$20, or $40 one pocket if you get bored at the tourney! :)

I wont ask for weight playing cheap like that, I just really like playing champions!

I will play you 9-ball for $1/game until you win $100 from me. I warn you though, I've been known to make 4, sometimes even 5 or more balls in a row before I miss so look out :)

No PM here, Dynamite. I'm putting it out in the open. You can't get any weight from me but you can belly up to the table like a man and play some one pocket for $20 a game. :D :yes:

You just have to pass by New Orleans. The wife is pissed at me for leaving for 10 days so I have stay close by for a while. :grin:

But seriously, good luck in your journey. If you pass by New Orleans I'll share a muffaletta sandwich with you or maybe a shrimp po-boy.

no.. nothing come off.. tournaments took lot out of me too!! and my big game arrnaged was martinez but he ended not playing

i do have a sponsor...and a stakehorse..but i also stake myself also..

chris giving u the 8 at your hometown doesnt really do it for me..

if i can pick the venue and state i will play you for min of 5k but i prefer to play long race! rather than head set!
