Darren Forfeits Beloit

Or better yet, take greyhound for $220. Take the local city bus or walk from hotel, $18, Split a room with 3 other players and share beds $100 and pack lunchables and nipple on cheese and crackers for 5 days.

BAM, just took your travel agent job!

Wait a minute. Are we talking about Efren, Busti, Alex and Jose or Darren?

You are right - that makes more sense. We are talking about professional pool here --- not NBA players on private jets and personal chefs.

Honestly though, if I were a traveling professional pool player like Darren or Lou Figueroa, I'm not sure I'd want to room with and share a car with people I'm trying to beat. I'd be friendly but keep my distance until I was no longer in the tournament.

I respect Darren's stance, his apology, and his posting here

most pros would not have the balls, heck most pros are actually NOT good people

I say end thread
Well you heard it here folks.
Most Pro's are not good people.
The conscience of AZ billiards speaks.

I'll throw this out free of charge: Most good people can't play pool like a pro.

Keep the thread going until they bring Barton back off of vacation.

Most of them aren't trying to beat anybody - they are trying to find someone to chop with. At least that is what I read on Facebook when someone wins --- someone else is always super excited because they had a share.

Reason #392 why I wouldn't make it as a pool player.

A recent study has found that all of the world's coral reefs will gone by 2050.

The professional pool player be extinct before that time.

Even if some C player calls themself a professional pool player on Facebook?

Where are these cheesy nipples of which you speak?

Where are these cheesy nipples of which you speak?

Speaking of nipples, I'm heading back to the Philippines tomorrow for three weeks of sun, fun and family life, with maybe a little pool thrown in for good measure. Here are a few reasons why I miss it there. My daughter and my girlfriend.

I just wanted to change the tone and tenor of this thread before it got too crazy on here. Darren has been vilified, mortified and scrutinized enough! Let's move on to bigger and better things like enjoying what time we have on this planet. I think Darren has shown a lot of class to calmly answer all the queries put to him on here. Say what you want, but at the end of the day he's a champ and we all know it! Darren Appleton adds a lot to the pool world today and I'm glad he gave up English Billiards to join us here. :)
