He has played pool for 10 + hrs per day his entire life, I doubt he's gassing out
Efren cannot draw the bye. He had the bye already so he needs Chohan to lose to Pinegar to guarantee reaching the final. One of the other two would draw it then if efren lost he would be forced to play the other while the the other player got the bye. If chohan loses now none of that matters. It would be efren vs pinegar best 2 out of 3.
It does sound like him but I’m not sure…

I recall the only rule being that a player couldn't get the bye two rounds in a row.
If it's the same as the past he cannot get it till everyone left has had one. Efren had a bye in the 4th round.
I suppose a bye is way stronger in later rounds, since all the remaining players are killers.
It’s him, but doesn’t sound like him. What I mean is that we’ve all heard Corey on commentary. Today, his cadence, inflection and even his accent isn’t the same as in the past. He certainly sounds more confident as a commentator than I remember.
Speeds up the time between shots so I guess that would help a little
He has never been 69/70 before and hitting balls around with no pressure is nothing like being in intense long battles at that age. No matter though as he escaped back to back grueling matches and has at least one more left in him at this point.
Looking at the «brackets» it looks like Efren played his round 12 match vs Sky, and is waiting for opponent in round 13.
The match between Tony C and J Pinegar was a round 11 match. So my guess is that Tony and J will play again in round 12 while Efren will play the winner in round 13
