Thanks for the link and the great article J. D. It was a shame it had to be cut down, but it is still only about the second Pool-related article in a main-stream US magazine on Pool I can think of in the last few years. A sad indictment of a sport that, as you pointed out, used to make front page headlines.
I also thought it was not quite right to state that "The top 150 players, including Morris, had earned their spots on the tour". Some mention of the bizarre and often prejudicial process by which those initial 150 places were filled would have been beneficial. However I did especially like the use of the phrase "In the midst of a gold rush, who sweats the price of a shovel and a pick?"
Kudos on actually getting some kind of window into the murky world of the Ho deal, although as ever there are far more questions remaining over that than answers.
Were you being deliberately ironic when you quote Rodney Morris as having "no problem with Trudeau or his past troubles" in light of Mr. Morris' own past troubles?
I noticed KT claims that he "invested $10 million and lost $2 million" Does this mean he is claiming that the IPT actually generated $8 million in revenue? If so how? Does that include the missing millions from Reno?
Or does it mean he "Invested" $10 and "Lost" a further $2 for a total of $12 million? But then again this is "KT Math" so anything is possible as long as you take enough Coral Calcium.
And how the heck did Rodney Morris manage to spend $17 large on "IPT-licensed products"?
