Diamond arrived update

It's also dirty as shit on the inside and gully I shot rack played great but when I went to rerack there is all sorts of dirt and sawdust on the balls they are filthy. I mean these get installed all the time for tournaments so this shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't think.
Mark made sure that the inside of the table was completely cleaned out with a large swiffer before he left. That should be standard-

Good for you, must have been a roll in flip down😅
You reply so many times, I'll address them individually. No, it needed assembly. Don't remember the guy's name who delivered/installed it, but I know he works with his son and I see him every year in Vegas at the Diamond booth. He was great.

So what percentage of Diamonds are flip down versus assembly?

Would I be correct in assuming that the install prices are less expensive for the flip downs, and that is represented in the price of buying a new Diamond?

All of the advertisements I have seen state "The DIAMOND PRO-AM is shipped from the factory fully assembled."

Only the legs need to be bolted on, and that was the case with mine.

Did you ever consider the possibility that you bought a new Diamond, that already had the rails covered in blue, like most tables they sell, but you wanted green instead, so the at the factory, on that New table, replaced the rail cloth with green to fulfill your order??? That DOES happen, I guarantee 100% it happens!!!!
They were supposed to be making me the table per order. With that in mind, why they would the have cushions already covered in the wrong color would be hard to understand,

If what you say is true, couldn’t they at least tell me that so I would know what the additional set of staple marks under the rails were from?

Some are assembled on site:
Most are as you say, legs only. I watched them at DCC and they just put the legs on. Factory is nearby so its easy to do that way.

Paul and Steven. They dropped mine off as well. Fed them some grilled burgers and sent them on their way. Good dudes. Now if Diamond will ever send me some Diamond stickers I'll have one less thing so complain about lol.

Pretty sure the dust inside comes from manufacturing and the long truck ride. Simple to wipe down, no worries here.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking that same thing, but it seems not to be the case after reading some of the comments here.

If the install were in a place where you could not get the cart in easily, it would be understandable if it had to be assembled.

Just curious.

For 6dimes+ it should be clean. Riding in the truck won't get them very dirty. Manuf. debris should be remove before its shipped.

Yes, Garczar's video shows this. but that was a 3-piece slate, so it was probably an upstairs install where the cart couldn't go. Makes sense. Ground floor 1-piece slate installs are probably much easier.

The Pro-Am's and smart tables are fully assembled except for the legs. The Professional model, on the other hand, needs assembly. And, as mentioned above, depends if it's a one piece or three piece slate.

Did you watch the video?? Not all ProAms are assembled beforehand. Most, yes, but not all.

Isn't there some type of middle ground between between the two? Mine seemed partially assembled. It was on a cart, but needed the legs AND rails to be installed.

You ever been in a box truck? It could have been pristine when leaving the factory. Riding across the country in the middle of pollen season, dust is going to get into places you'll never even know. Now if there was leaves falling out of it or something un-natural, well then complain away.

Yes. The tops usually have to be put on as well. When my friend got his 7ft'r the box was assembled and they just attached legs and the top. His was a ground-floor install. Start to hitting balls was maybe 2hrs. Plays perfect with 860HR.

you pay for a brand new table. you should get a brand new table in perfect condition.
no cloth should have been put on before and changed out. then it isnt a brand new table.

a pool table is very easy to quality check it after it is finished. there arent hidden moving parts. if it is sent out with any deficiencies its totally on the company and their reputation. they have had to know and sent it out hoping it would be accepted and if not then make some token consideration. thats a bad business practice.
being dirty confims the lack of quality control and inspection before leaving the factory.
