Diamond Bigfoot Ten Ball Challenge

I live in the area where Jonathan Pinegar ( Hennessee) lives and I'm pretty sure he will not be ready for the DCC. He was hurt pretty bad in a motorcycle accident several months back. He may be contacting someone himself and I don't want to speak for him but I will be very surprised if he is ready to play by then. I hope I am wrong and he is ready to play.......Good Luck Henney!

I'm aware of this and hope he is okay. I will give him a week or two to respond one way or the other.

of those alternates listed and those interested, I think they should be invited on skill and accomplishments combined.
1 Lee Van Corteza
2 John Schmidt
3 Mike Dechaine
4 Keith Bennett
5 Chris Bartram
6 Robb Saez
7 Lee Brett

Guess this as good of a place as any..... Bigfoot is invitational... CSI events will be invitational... shouldn't Mark and Greg agree on who makes the list and more or less become the new North American rep of the WPA?????

Should be a great field!!!

Chris

So you edited out your original reply of "....." So is this still undecided? Hopefully this gets announced as at least for me it will impact when I attend especially now that the Bigfoot finale won't be Thursday/Friday.

Just like the last few years, it's probably going to come down to which players can find themselves a backer for the $1000 entry fee.

I will play any of them on the 10ft table, race to 100. Accomplishments i won't win (pool wise) The last 10ft event in Tunica i was going to play but bonus ball wouldn't allow, and we all no what happened there.

The 1st time i played i lost hill hill to Kiamco who admitted he got lucky to win and said afterwards he wouldn't play me on the 10ft when i offered. IMO i have an advantage over the pool players coming from snooker. If i don't get in, then i wish everyone good luck.

This coming year i will be playing in every event i can and putting the hours back on the table, to earn my way in through merit. Skill wise not one of the guys in it can out shoot me and i will bet with anyone on that!!! But this game isn't all about ball making.

I wish Jay would make it 32 players, there are only 3 pro events next year so maybe now is the time the 10ft events became the new 32 player invitational events.

So if you're in the field, drop a K to enter, and go 4 and 0, you win $16k?

Pretty damned inviting... Can't think of ANY better odds in pool.

Not only that, win 2 matches, you win $4K.

win 3 matches, $8K.

Elite playing field though...

I know we all want to see are favorites playing for good money, but as promoters go to invitational only with the pros, some of the problem children, me-me first pros, non-supporters, good old gang, and some for reasons we may never know are not going to be in every 16-32 pro-player tournaments anymore. Invitationals

Diamonds goals and criteria are different than CSI's.

I think there will be several common players present and several common players that are absent.

Not trying to become the WPA representative. But we are still gonna take a shot at keeping some pro level events going on.

More to come later.
